We stayed at Ibis Singapore Novena as part of a family trip, with separate rooms for the different families in our group.
Our room had three proper single beds, which worked well for three adults. It was definitely a tight fit, but since we were out exploring Singapore most of the day and only came back to sleep, it wasn’t an issue for us.
The hotel is a little dated, but it was clean and well maintained. The air conditioning worked really well, which we appreciated after spending the day walking around in Singapore’s heat and humidity.
The location was convenient. The MRT station is within walking distance, and there’s a shopping mall nearby with restaurants and stores. We actually ended up taking Grab most of the time because it was inexpensive and very convenient. One feature we really appreciated was the self-service laundry on the 10th floor, which came in handy during our longer trip.
If you’re looking for a modern luxury hotel, this probably isn’t it. But if you want a clean, comfortable place to sleep in a good location while you explore the city, it’s a solid choice and a good value.
Overall, we’d stay here again.
