again problematic air conditioning system in China
Pros:

both the facility and rooms were very average, not well air conditioned, inside the rooms the air conditioner was cold enough but was very humid, all the comforter sheets were damp, had to use a blow dryer to dry it, to be comfortable. I'm beginning to notice a pattern, this being a problem across China, had either has to do with government policies or local businesses trying tricks to save energy while still charging a five-star price. after this experience and trip to China, I will certainly alter my strategy in the future, there there seem to be no need to overpay when they play the same game, not providing the level of comfort you're paying for

Excellent service with one small disappointment
Pros:

I had another excellent stay at Hilton Shanghai Hongqiao and would gladly return.
I would especially like to thank Hailie and Tom at the Front Office for their warm welcome, professionalism, and willingness to help throughout my stay. A special thank you also goes to Krystal in the Executive Lounge, whose kindness and attentive service made every visit a pleasure.
The hotel is comfortable, the staff is outstanding, and the overall experience fully meets the standards expected of a Hilton property.
My only disappointment concerns the Diamond member welcome amenity. Having to collect the complimentary fruit voucher yourself on the way to your room does not reflect what I would expect from a 5 star hotel. A welcome amenity should be delivered to the room or presented in a more elegant and convenient way. It is a small detail, but details are what distinguish a true 5 star hotel experience.
Apart from this, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and look forward to returning.

Great hotel in Shanghai not far from International Airport SHA
Pros:

Very well maintained hotel, friendly staff, excellent service.
The executive lounge was well stacked with goodies at breakfast and dinner time.
