Large heated indoor/outdoor pool and pretty garden. Tired building.
Pros:

Friendly team. Room was spacious. Pool (outside/inside) very nice, the grounds large and well maintained.

Cons:

Airconditioning did not work. Breakfast below average.

Great spot, great value for money with more facilities than most for the price point
Pros:

Really enjoyed the spa, the breakfast, the amount of parking and how spacious the rooms were.

Cons:

If i had to say something, some of the finishings were a little dated but certainly nothing that effected my stay.

Don’t be fooled. This is NOT a 4* hotel.
Pros:

Lovely pool, and the gardens are beautiful

Cons:

We booked a standard double room. The curtains didn’t cover the windows, the room was dirty and the bed was NOT a double. It was 3/4 size at best- not for 2adults. Disgraceful.

I had been pre-warned the hotel was tired and that was a fair description. But the price was fine
Pros:

The hotel feels dated and tired. No phone in the room and had to make your own tea and coffee at breakfast, the iron was taped together with sellotape, there was no air conditioning in the room

It was ok very clean and good breakfast. Feels like it's half way through refurbishment

Once everything is repaired it will be great :)

Reception not friendly.
No info in room on meal times or menu or anything about the hotel
Half of gym broken and pool functions not working, chipped missing tiles etc

I cannot recommend this hotel for business travelers.

I requested an invoice issued in my company's name both before my stay and again immediately afterwards. Despite making the request within the required timeframe, the hotel refused to issue it, claiming that more than one week had passed.

This is simply not true. The request was made on time, yet instead of helping to resolve the issue, they only looked for excuses to avoid providing the documentation.

If you travel for business and need proper invoicing, I would recommend choosing another hotel. The customer service was disappointing and unnecessarily difficult over a basic administrative request.

Massive disappointment
Pros:

Breakfast was exceptional

Cons:

I went here about 17 or 18 years ago and it was amazing. Since then it has gone to rack and ruin. No maintenence has been done, everywhere is shabby and grubby. Nothing in the spa works properly, the sauna is like a warm cupboard. Really disappointed, it is so run down.

Dusty Fredericks Hotel & Dirt

Outside sunbathing area

Cons:

Absolutely disgusting really dusty, dirty everywhere in communal hall ways, staircase never hoovered, in bathroom of room 205 the unit cabinets door hanging off, water gets blocked when showering, no shower gel, hand wash or cream, fan in room full of dust when you switch it on - dust blows everywhere, swimming pool too hot, bed you can feel the springs in your back, the photos online are decieving as my room was nothing like that. The lighting in room is horrendous

Pros:

A thoroughly enjoyable stay, thanks to all the staff.

Cons:

Others leaving empties, that were still there the next day. If you take it out, take it in. Its not on the staff, it's the clients! So thanks to the staff who do clean up after these folk.
