Confortable hotel convenient to the Thames Path

Wouldn’t stay there again, needs some serious improvements in good quality and staff management

The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom very clean. Location excellent. Pods a great idea for private dinning. Good car parking . Room mini bar well stocked.

Cons:

Food for both dinner and breakfast …AWFUL ! Ribeye steak like a piece of leather . Breakfast cold over cooked poor quality. Went to the Bull for two days. Lovely. Service slow staff couldn’t care less.

Lovely place in a great setting. We would go back.
Pros:

Amazing suite really lovely. Lots of goodies in the room if you fancy a drink and snack, but obviously you have to pay. But nice touch. 24 hour reception which was great as we came back late from a festival.

Cons:

Breakfast was cold! and our coffee did not come until after the food. We had to chase the drink.

Had a lovely relaxing two nights at The Great House. Big thank you to the lady on reception Tuesday morning didn’t get h
Pros:

Location. The room was large & comfortable with a fridge which was full of wine, chocolate, prosecco, coke & water. There was also a picnic basket with lots of goodies in, obviously you had to pay for these things but the price wasn’t too bad. Blanket, towel, bedding for your dog( small dogs) & treats & a doggy guest book( forgot to write in it though).

Cons:

Parking could be tricky.

Pros:

we really didn’t rate the food or service. Very slow service. Food wasn’t very good.

Cons:

Prompter service and nicer food. We came for a wedding and the food for that was excellent
