I went for dinner to saffron. Amazing food. And to top it off, their singer Kabir whose voice is so melodious and soulful that it adds a charm to the evening!

Stayed here for two nights with my family in July 2026, and the experience was good overall, though not without a few disappointments.

The stay got off to an average start. Check-in wasn't particularly smooth, mainly because the lobby was extremely crowded. The café occupying a large portion of the lobby also takes away from the sense of arrival. For a premium brand like JW Marriott, I expected a more spacious and luxurious first impression.

The room was comfortable, clean and well-appointed. However, the toiletries were underwhelming. I've experienced noticeably better amenities at several comparable luxury hotels, so this felt like an area where the property could improve.

The standout aspect of the hotel was undoubtedly the dining experience. The breakfast buffet was exceptional, with one of the largest and most impressive spreads I've come across at any hotel in India. We also had a late dinner at the restaurant, and the food was excellent once again. A special thanks to Prakhar, whose service was attentive, professional and genuinely memorable. He played a big part in making our dining experience outstanding.

The only major disappointment was the handling of my Marriott Bonvoy points query. I had eligible spends within the hotel and contacted the reception to understand when the points would be credited. Over the phone, I was told they would reflect within 72 hours of checkout. When I later visited the front desk, Diya gave me three completely different answers within a matter of minutes: first that I wouldn't receive any points, then that the points would be credited automatically, and finally that I wasn't eligible to earn them at all.

For a global hospitality brand with a well-established loyalty programme, it's surprising that front office staff seemed so uncertain about Marriott Bonvoy's basic earning rules. This is an area where better staff training would go a long way.

Overall, JW Marriott Chandigarh offers comfortable accommodation and excellent food, and the restaurant alone is worth recommending. However, the arrival experience and inconsistent handling of a simple loyalty query fell short of the standards I expect from the JW Marriott brand.

Restaurant 9.9.9. - For starter I had calamari with saffron aioli, for main the vegetable pizza and for desert an off menu item, peanut butter macarons with strawberry coulis. They are very very catering to allergies, the chef came out to talk to us about the options for me and that the pizzas were made fresh to order and hence he could make it dairy free. There was nothing for me on the desert menu so the chef (Dairav) went to with his colleagues in the other kitchens in the hotel to ensure I had something. Both the kitchen and FOH staff were incredibly caring and friendly and they did everything they could to make us feel welcomed.
The rooms were very big and very clean with views overlooking the restaurant courtyard and a green space. Somebody came within 10 minutes to set up the spare bed and checked that we had everything we needed.
I could not recommend this hotel more, if you are in Chandigarh and looking for a very friendly place to stay, all the staff at the JW Marriott Bonvoy would do anything to make you feel comfortable and welcomed.

I traveled to Chandigarh, India with 2 clients on business. I have stayed at this hotel at least 12 times over the years. This time I was bitten by bed bugs while staying in Room 628. The hotel moved me immediately but the damage was done. Coming home, needless to say, required immense amounts of cleaning and quarantining of all my clothes and luggage. I notified Marriott through my Bonvoy App. I’m a lifetime Platinum Level member. I received a boiler plate response with a promise of follow up in 5-7 days. I had requested escalation to the corporate level. Nothing happened; no email, text or phone call. I have notified my corporate HR as well as the clients I travel regularly there with and we will not be staying at this property again.

JW Marriott Chandigarh is a perfect choice for business stays. The property is spacious with an excellent health club and a relaxing ambiance. The food was exceptional, especially at JW Café and the rooftop restaurant, BRISA35 which offers stunning city views and delicious cuisine. A special thanks to Mansi for her warm welcome and outstanding hospitality that made the stay even more memorable. Overall, an excellent experience—I highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

Good location, Nice ambience, yummy food and above all….my favourite singer, Kabir, the Great….he has a very soulful voice. He sings from heart. He sings Jagjit Singh Ji and Kishore Kumar Ji. Ultimately, he made my evening.

Really loved the stay .. it was truly a pleasant experience .. Special thanks to Ms. Prabhjot Kaur and Mr. Ashish… Thank you for the incredible care you put into keeping our rooms clean. Your dedication does not go unnoticed.

Another excellent stay. We really enjoyed our time at lounge- feels cozy and welcoming with the green views and good food and beverage variety- really liked the peanut butter cheesecake. For our dinner we went with Xo - the pad thai noodles were the best this time. We asked the team at the baking company for mango kunafa pastry which we had during our previous stay, the stay made one especially for us as it was not present this time and we really appreciate, they fulfilled our request. Finally our breakfast at the cafe JW was excellent with the savoury variety and all the breakfast options - my fav was ajwain puri and aalo bhaji. A special thanks to Prakhar for excellent service and chef Amit for making sure we were enjoying our meal. Another fantastic stay with fantastic service - Thank you JW Chandigarh.
