Lovely setting by the river. Good restaurant with wide range of food. Really good friendly service.
Room a bit cluttered
Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice.
Regarding the shower tray in the bathroom it needed to be treated with a no slip coating. It was extremely slippy and dangerous once wet.
Fantastic place, the restaurant and bar area was lovely and welcoming. And the food was really nice aswell. The room we had was a little small but still great.
Only thing is the traffic noise, from our room with window open, we did sleep though.
Breakfast was good, do like to help yourself to fruit etc but no trouble for it to be served to you. Room was lovely and bathroom impressive - loved waterfall shower.
Had dinner at hotel, vegetarian choice limited and drinks expensive. Had to go looking for staff when wanted to check out.
The breakfast was fine, the service was very poor.
We waited forty five minutes for the breakfast to arrive. Evening meal was thrown together before presentation. The suits were cold . An expensive around stay.
Beautifully appointed, clean & comfortable rooms, well equipped with all comforts required.
Nothing that I can think of.
Presentation and overall experience was superb
Was a little noisy in the morning due to hearing the beer barrel delivery outside.
Location. The history of it.
Enjoyed everything about our stay. Lovely staff. We were well looked after.

Location and staff
Nothing
Everything was great
Couldn't do anything better, excellent
The location was brilliant, staff excellent, room adequate. The dining rooms excellent, usual Brunning and Price standard. Situated just opposite a National Trust Home
Food was varied, some good, some adequate. Only just value for money.
The breakfasts were brilliant every day, a lot of effort has gone into it. Location is perfect so long as you can get about in a car to see tbe sites, its nice to be away from the busy city's or town.
It was perfect
Mooie locatie met mooie kamers.
Niet.
Lovely place, staff helpful and friendly, Great pizza's on Friday evening out the back. Breakfast was very good too. Great selection of draft beers and lagers on tap.
Room was neat and tidy and had tea, coffee machine and biscuits! Bathroom was clean, nicely equipped and good.
I'd highly recommend the place and stay again, but be aware of above average room and food prices, but you pays your money and takes your choice.
Food prices were expensive. For example we ate down the road once at the Horseshoes pub and had a 2 course meal for £18 that was massive and very good. Most main courses at the Mytton were more than that.
Old historical property on the bank of the river seven. Lovely room bar and restaurant down stairs. You can eat and have drinks outside if you wish.
