The hotel was lovely, evening meal and breakfast was good. Check in was a bit slow.

Good service, really lovely staff who were very accommodating. Room was lovely, very clean and comfortable. Good food. Thanks.

Beautiful hotel by the River Severn
Pros:

Lovely situation, good restaurant menu, reasonable price.

Cons:

Our easy access room had very small window. Breakfast waiter rather frosty. Minor quibbles.

A Great Stay
Pros:

We are returning guests to Mytton and Mermaid. We came back because we were previously impressed by the friendliness and professionalism of your staff, the beautiful hotel, the ambience, the delicious food and our room, which had many little 'extras'.
We are still impressed.
While we live on the other side of the world, we have previously recommended Mytton and Mermaid to our friends and they loved it, too.
Thank you to everyone who interacted with us and your rear of house team, too.
We plan on returning someday.

Great location, near Shrewsbury.
Pros:

Excellent stay again. This is our 3rd visit and all was as expected, clean, comfy room. Great food, friendly staff, good selection of beers and wines. Would visit again.

Comfortable, clean hotel in nice setting.
Pros:

Comfortable bed. Spacious bathrooms. Good toiletries. Choice of hot drinks in the room. Friendly staff. Offer of carrying luggage to our room. Very clean in room and public areas. Sufficient car parking available. Scenic location

Cons:

Top floor room up two flights. No lift. Very hot with no air-conditioning. A room fan provided but windows difficult to open so fanning hot air only. Made for sticky nights sleep. Breakfast waitress served only. A few items on the menu not available. Only knew that orange juice available after asking. Not on the menu.
