We enjoyed a very comfortable overnight stay, great standard of food and friendly atmosphere.
Pros:

Good location, good accomodation, in need of a little more TLC
Pros:

Good breakfast and dinner

Cons:

The dining room was too hot; I asked on two different days when booking dinner for a table under a fan, but only got one once.
There was a lot of dust around on the stairway to our room; someone had written "Clean Me " on it!
The window in our bathroom did not seal well and was drafty

Excellent one night stay as part of a trip to visit relatives.
Pros:

Attractive location by the River Seven with a large outside area with parasols to sit in good weather. Plenty of choice in the restaurant, quick and excellent service and a very enjoyable meal. Good choice for breakfast. Very friendly and well trained staff. We would definitly choose to stay at the hotel again. We enjoyed being able to stroll in the parkland of Attingham Park National Trust as the entrance is directly opposite the hotel. The car park can get busy on weekends but there is a very helpful gentleman who organises the parking as best as possible.

Cons:

Nothing to contribute - they are doing an excellent job.

Lovely hotel overall. Picking holes, some staff were not than welcoming on departure and in bar.
Pros:

Beautiful property. Very quirky. Lovely comfortable room

Cons:

This is my second visit and the rooms could do with a dust as cobwebs were found on both visits in the rooms. Other than that it was lovely.

Alles wat je van een oude Engelse Inn verwacht, heerlijk!
Pros:

Prachtige locatie bij oude brug aan de rivier Severn, net buiten Shrewsbury. Oude inn, authentiek ingericht. Heerlijk terras in de voortuin en langs het water. Heel comfortabele kamer en lekker ontbijt. Aan de overkant van het hotel is de ingang van een stately home en park.

Excellent in parts. Room very much let it down. Wouldn't stay again.

Staff were pleasant, evening dinner delicious.
Situation perfect.

Cons:

The room was not in the main building and was adapted for disabled people. This meant the bathroom was large, bare and chilly. To get to the main building meant going out into the rain/cold/ whatever, not convenient for us and certainly not if you were in a wheelchair. It should have been stated at booking that it was an adapted room, in which case I wouldn't have taken it. We were told on arrival that all the other twin rooms were booked, in spite of there being several left when I booked. Not happy, would have paid more for a better room.

Better value near Shrewsbury if you look around!
Pros:

It is what it says on the tin - A restored old Manor on the banks of the fabulous river Severn!
Lovely comfortable room! Short on staff, but the dear volunteer car park attendant was brilliant!
Food average Pub Grub, not up to usual Brunning and Price!
