Tolle Lage, sehr sauber und komfortabel
Pros:

Sehr gute Lage, sehr schön eingerichtetes Hotel, super sauberes und komfortables Zimmer. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut und reichhaltig, und das Personal ist sehr freundlich und kommuniziert hervorragend. Sie haben mich einige Stunden vor dem Check-in angerufen und mir alle notwendigen Anweisungen gegeben.

Cons:

Der einzige Punkt, der verbessert werden könnte, wäre der Kaffee. Für die Qualität des Hotels war der beim Frühstück servierte Kaffee ziemlich schlecht.

Lovely 2 nights
Pros:

Beautiful large double aspect room. Worth the moderate extra cost. Excellent position with sea views from sunny balcony. Good air-conditioning and v comfy bed.

Cons:

Could not have a proper shower as the shower head did not fix to the wall. Problem known about but not yet fixed.

Pros:

Sehr zentrale Lage und trotzdem ruhig plus ein Auto-Parkplatz. Freundliches Personal und frühes Frühstück wegen der Flugabreise. Geräumiges Zimmer mit bequemen Betten.

Pros:

Die tolle Lage direkt an der Promenade bietet die Möglichkeit die Stadt zu erkunden. Das Ambiente fanden wir sejr ansprechend. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel bietet 5 Parkplätze, genau dahinter in einer Gasse.

Only a one night stay but would happily stay longer.
Pros:

Well thought out adaptation of a lovely old building; more suited for the agile. Friendly, helpful staff and nice breakfast. Ambience perfect.

Cons:

Noisy bar with late loud live music opposite our room. Not appreciated after a long day travelling when not yet in the party mood.

No staff onsite after 8pm. No lights working in hallway to rooms. Room 6 was directly opposite a bar with loud thumping music until 1.30am then traffic noise continued until 4am which started up again by 06.30=am. Totally unable to sleep all night due to the noise. Windows did hot stop the noise.

Superb location and lovely hotel.
Pros:

The staff are lovely, they always are. The hotel is decorated very tastefully. Location couldnt be better. Generally a lovely place to stay.

Cons:

The breakfast coffee was dreadful, don't know what went wrong there, can you have instant coffee maybe? Still a nice place to stay 😌 though.

Hobsons choice Hotel but comfortable and well located.

Cons:

This was the only suitable hotel available in Preveza after our previously booked and paid for hotel, Evangeline masons, had cancelled our stay at the last minute. The hotel and Booking. com gave different reasons for this and the situation is still unresolved. As a result we had to pay double the price for two rooms in Captains house cos they couldn't fit two adults and two daughters aged 20 and 15,into one room.
Captains House is a good residence, particularly it's location, but the breakfast is average as food wasn't labelled, no instructions for hot drinks dispensing, fruit and warm food was minimal.
No lift in property is a nuisance.
