Charming country house hotel with spectacular gardens close to Loch Ness
Pros:

We had a lovely stay at the Loch Ness Country House Hotel. We had a junior suite which was very spacious and comfortable, and had a separate area with a desk and sofa. We had dinner at the restaurant twice, and the food was excellent. So was the breakfast. The gardens are stunning. The location was also great: we were very close to the Jacobite Cruise departure point on Loch Ness, and a short drive away from Inverness.

Cons:

It was all great, but we did find it expensive for what it was. While comfortable and charming, we were expecting it to be slightly more luxurious for the price.

An oasis of warm relaxed professional and very comfortable hospitality
Pros:

Dinner and breakfast were each excellent. The gnocchi with pulled beef was melt in the mouth and a dish to remember. The sunshine meant we could make the most of the terrace which gave lovely views and smashing service for coffee and drinks. The shortbread in the bedroom was out of this world yum!

Cons:

Staying more than one night! We hope to be back.

Pros:

Lovely building. Big rooms.

Cons:

Dark interior and the bathroom needs updating. Needs new silicone around the bath and the wood panel was horrendous on the side of the bath.

Great place let down by substandard interior

Great location and a lovely property

Cons:

The approach sets an expectation which the interior doesn’t satisfy. The property could be superb but needs investment. It’s very disappointing, thus has potential to be a great place but really needs caring owners and significant cash injection but not sure its size justifies the expense

Pros:

La struttura, sebbene datata e necessitante di manutenzione in diverse parti,è in un parco, con giardino ben curato. La camera è spaziosa, ma diversi dettagli migliorabili, vernice scrostata,linoleum sollevato,lampadine bruciate. Buona colazione.

Il rapporto qualità prezzo, per il prezzo corrisposto, ci si aspetterebbe di più e maggiore cura dei dettagli.
