The vintage style building is well maintained. Impressive choice of whiskey
The shower head and the plate in bathroom need to be fixed. The food is good, combined with average service

Struttura immersa nella natura, molto tranquilla e confortevole
Excellent location and beautiful hotel and grounds, bedrooms desperately need attention especially for the price you’re paying, the grubby looking shower over the bath is definitely not inviting. I personally didn’t enjoy either breakfast during the 2 nights, the American pancakes were something bought from a supermarket and popped into a toaster 🙁. The staff were all lovely and friendly.
On our 2nd night a wedding party arrived and completely took over the outside terrace, lovely for them shouting and singing but horrendous for other guests. Obviously not their fault but I do think the hotel has a duty to inform its guests of the upcoming event so that they can change accommodation if they don’t want to be part of some strangers celebrations. Especially at these prices!!
I love this hotel. It is the best place to stay in Inverness: good food, lovely staff, very clean and well maintained, and beautiful gardens.
Architecture, espace et gentillesse du personnel, la qualité des repas
Great atmosphere
Excellent staff and excellent dinner. Every staff member was professional and friendly.
Cottage needs updating,
We had a lovely stay at the Loch Ness Country House Hotel. We had a junior suite which was very spacious and comfortable, and had a separate area with a desk and sofa. We had dinner at the restaurant twice, and the food was excellent. So was the breakfast. The gardens are stunning. The location was also great: we were very close to the Jacobite Cruise departure point on Loch Ness, and a short drive away from Inverness.
It was all great, but we did find it expensive for what it was. While comfortable and charming, we were expecting it to be slightly more luxurious for the price.
Dinner and breakfast were each excellent. The gnocchi with pulled beef was melt in the mouth and a dish to remember. The sunshine meant we could make the most of the terrace which gave lovely views and smashing service for coffee and drinks. The shortbread in the bedroom was out of this world yum!
Staying more than one night! We hope to be back.
