La localisation

Cons:

Les chambres à la hauteur sous plafond trop basses. Le bruit du funiculaire toute la nuit. L’absence de petit déjeuner sur place et l’obligation d’aller dans un café sans aucune vue au bord d’une route pour prendre le petit déjeuner. Le personnel qui n’a aucune attention pour les clients.

Top of the mountain in beautiful Bergamo.
Pros:

Location, at the top of the old city Bergamo, next to the upper funicular. Beautiful Italian villa with private parking and a warm, friendly and attentive staff. Super comfy bed in a quiet space that helped with our jet lag. Kudos to Svetlana and Bledi for speaking with and helping us like we were old friends.

Cons:

Very disappointing experience. The staff were particularly unhelpful and made us feel like we were lesser mortals from the moment we walked into reception. There was no warm welcome, no effort to make us feel comfortable, and they seemed uninterested in helping us.

They did not show us to the room or explain the hotel's facilities or services clearly, leaving us to figure everything out on our own. For the price charged, the level of service was simply unacceptable.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It is poor value for money, and there are far better places to stay. I would suggest staying elsewhere.

An ideal hotel for visiting Bergamo
Pros:

Perfect small hotel in a great location. Staff very welcoming & helpful.
Good breakfast (on terrace) with (minimal) gluten free options (small packet of gluten free bread), but nice selection of meats, cheeses & fruits with limitless coffee get the morning off to a good start.

Very pleasant room (2nd floor) with lovely view. We were above the terrace, so there was noise from the evening diners but it never bothered us. If it does, close the window as the hotel has very good sound proofing.

Great location for either a few minutes walk into Citta Alta or for getting the frequent & reliable bus to Citta Bassa, train station & airport. Bus easy to use with ATB app.

Läget var perfekt. Personalen var trevlig och hjälpsam. Rummet var rymligt och bekvämt.

Cons:

Ventilen i badrummet var i behov av underhåll då den lät mer än normalt. Toaletten var också i behov av underhåll då den stod och rann långt efter spolning. Parkeringen var bra men borde ingå i boendepriset.

Koselig lite hotell som overrasket med beliggenhet, veldig god frokost, elskverdig og vennlige ansatte, behagelige senger og fantastisk utsikt. Alt var bra! Kommer gjerne tilbake!
