Peaceful location just outside Portalegre.
Pros:

Beautiful property, convenient for Portalegre but in a peaceful setting. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. Good quality breakfast. Large room. Pool was a bonus to cool down in the afternoon. Good private parking. The common areas to relax in.

Apenas achei um pequeno almoço fraco, devia ter produtos, locais, regionais, bolos caseiros. Acho que podiam melhorar.

Heerlijk ontbijt. Vriendelijkheid van het personeel. Mooi historisch gebouw met een sfeervolle woonkamer. Het terrein/tuin voor een wandeling en een fijn zwembad.

In de badkamer hangt een douche gordijn. Een glazen scherm zou ík fijn vinden.

Pros:

The ambience of the converted convent was excellent. It is in the countryside and very peaceful. There are sections of old stonework next to the building. We enjoyed talking to the donkeys.

Beautiful building and location. Staff extremely helpful. I liked the help yourself drinks. Very clean. Quiet.

Cons:

Thin mattress topper could be better. Suggest add some snacks to the drinks fridge area. Deep stones in car park challenging on a heavy motorbike.
