Nice location and room.
Good with the free coffee and tea in a nice room.
For us this was a hotel that tried to be fancy, but couldn't fully live up to it.
Way too expensive for parking (33£ for less than a day), We were told that it would have costed less if we have booked directly (24£), but how should we have known. The communication and service re. the parking alternative was bad and a little rude.
Internet was bad.
No breakfast included.
A lot of noise from running water during the night.
Great location and a Michelin restaurant on site

Beautiful decor in all the rooms and communal spaces

Excellent Michelin starred restaurant on site
Nothing
Elegant, tasteful decor & a calm, efficient and friendly ambiance-in a wonderful location in this stunning city. Our second stay here for son’s graduation -our stunning room was ready early as requested which was hugely appreciated
Nothing
Large well equipped rooms, friendly staff who went out of their way to assist, lovely decor
Nothing
The Queensberry Hotel is an absolutely classy hotel. Our room (superior double) had a high ceiling and was very spacious. Both the room and bathroom were super clean. From the hotel, one can reach the major attractions of the city in a few minutes’ walk.
Noises from inside the hotel (other rooms) were audible at times, but luckily the other guests were of the quiet type. Public parking around the hotel is very limited (both in number and in how long one can stay), so one has to resort to the valet parking service of the hotel, which comes at an extra cost.
Character and most staff
No coffee or fridge in rooms
What a brilliant hotel- service and experience completely aligned to relaxation. Simply done- nothing too flash, but nothing too much trouble.
Loved the decor too. Only slight niggle which may irritate some is the WiFi coverage which wasn’t great- if I was with work or children that might have been an issue.
So glad we came- we’ll be back
Staff were exceptional. Very comfortable room. Air conditioning during heat wave was a plus. Highly recommend.
Super Lage, komfortabler Check In mit Parkservice, wunderschönes großzügiges Zimmer mit eigenem Flur und Badezimmer, grandioses Restaurant
Nichts, alles war toll!
The staff were fantastic and always there to help
No compaints
Good location. Comfortable room.
Valet parking @ £30 per day + £4 per additional hour meant that we paid £80 to park for 2 days. simply too expensive.
There was tea, coffee and water available in the ground floor lounge and on one of the landings. I would have preferred tea and coffee in the room rather than having to go downstairs to get it.
Breakfast was good quality, but choices could be limiting. I would have preferred a buffet of cereals, juices, fruit and cold items (ham, cheese, etc) + the possibility of ordering hot food.
What a gem of a boutique hotel this is! We stayed for just one night. Our room, #2, was spacious included a bathtub, was artfully decorated, had high ceilings and large windows that made it well ventilated. There is a lovely sitting room with coffee, tea, lemon water. Also several additional little sitting rooms, a bar lounge, and outdoor garden area, in which to rest, read or simply take in the unique decor. The rooms sit within what was I believe 4 residences, thus the unique and interesting (to me) room configuration. All staff was friendly & helpful. Complimentary breakfast was generous and delicious. I hope to stay here again sometime and would highly recommended it for those who like a hotel with personality.
