Pros:

The staff are very friendly and helpful! Love how there is a swimming pool and playground for the kids and the rooms are a good size! We will definitely be back to stay next year!!

Pros:

The bedroom was clean and tidy. Comfortable beds.

Cons:

The pillows were high and really hard.
The kitchenette was dated, stained wall tiles and hot plates. Needed a revamp.
Access to glasses and cups in cupboard at floor level. Should be eye level or above.
Almost overpowering smell of something like air freshener to the point of distraction.

It is very budget, the bed was comfy and thats about it.

The location was good, the bed was so comfy.

Cons:

The floor looked unvaccumed in the hallway, there was no microwave & the shower over the tub was not good. Also you had to open a window for wifi to work. The carpet in the room near the shower seemed to have water up underneath it at times it felt wet.

Bottom line … yes i will likely stay here again
Pros:

The single pod was ideal for me. It had what I value … clean (pristine actually), safe and quiet. It was reasonably priced in the area I needed.

The main hotel was typical two story U shaped around a central pool. Very kid friendly with nearby playground. So lots of noisy, rude teens racing between rooms.

But the lovely single pod was up a hill and across a meadow. Away from the maddening crowd.

It has all you need: bed, desk, chair, microwave, refer, kettle, toaster. Cups, etc

Hot water was plentiful. If you don’t spot what you need (a bath towel) poke around in cabinets. The space is small and they had to be hidden.

No place to hang clothes.

WiFi was strong a (except a short while when the maddening crowd arrived) and the bed comfortable.

There is mini-split(?) that both heats and cools.

Be prepared for them to want $100 cash bond or a copy of your debit card details

The reception has limited hours. I had to leave early and the key card could be dropped in a slot.

Best bed, nice and convenient location.
Pros:

The best bed I have slept in away from home.

Cons:

Having to walk past the bar to get to my room was weird as I was there visiting family so came back late at night and found that a bit weird. But the room was lovely and comfortable.

We like staying at Poenamo twice a year and hope we have a better experience in November
Pros:

I love what you have done to the place, the renos look amazing. the bigger fridge was good too as the last few times we have stayed there hasn't been enough room on the fridge for supplies. New Hobs are awesome too, gives more options for meal time

Cons:

The internal access door into the units next door, I understand the concept but when you can hear every sneeze, cough, snore and full conversations, that makes the experience unpleasant. Being woken at 4am but loud guess next door, when you have an 8hr drive ahead of you was not good
