Amazing stay
Pros:

It’s our second time staying at Poenamo Hotel, we love the location, so close to all the stores, and the best part is the backyard restaurant with the best food! Staff is always helpful and the room is super clean and tidy

Cons:

Internet is still very bad, If you need internet wifi for work is sooo bad, slow, and sometimes doesn’t even work.

Disappointed. Silly checking process, loud noise prevented sleep.
Pros:

We thought it would be a good location being across the road from netball courts for a tournament, but ended up disappointed and frustrated. Tidy enough and potential to be a good stay, but wasn't sound proofed and noise meant lack of sleep.

Cons:

They wanted $100 on arrival for a cancelation security bond, and wanted us to sign an agreement setting out cancelation terms, when we had prepaid and were there to check in, with no intention of canceling. The room looks over a pool, beyond metal bars of pool gate was a pub, we were told noise would be done by 11pm which was late enough the night before an early start and tournament day. But the noise continued till sometime after 12.15am. Booming base, loud music, drunken singing etc. Not a good night's sleep at all.

Pros:

Close to where we needed to be and the staff were exceptional, very understanding of travel disruption, and the beds were sooooo comfortable!

Cons:

A little dated but this is so minor as everything else is great, you can see improvements being made with additional cabins etc, I think this place will be a real gem as they continue to develop!

Convenient hotel for getting to the university
Pros:

Good location. Restaurants on site. Had a bath. Comfy bed. Good internet. Friendly staff. Good heating/air con.

Cons:

I was next to the bottle bin from the bar so had glass being thrown in the bin after 10pm and also very close to the delivery area so was woken up just after 6.

Great place to stay for family group, nice and private, warm and heaps of space to entertain
Pros:

Great little house, met our expectations fully and then some, was in Auckland for a Family members 50th birthday party, little house was more than big enough to invite a few family members over beforehand for some drinks / nibbles.

Cons:

Beds were OK maybe a little to firm. 2 single bedrooms with only one single bed in them each, just an observation 2 more single beds could easily be accommodated for.
