It’s hard to put into words just how special Finca Luna Nueva is. Before staying, we wondered whether it would live up to the reviews, whether we’d see much wildlife, and whether the farm-to-table concept would really feel as good as it sounded — and it exceeded our expectations in every way.
The food was the best we had in La Fortuna, the staff were the friendliest we came across, and the facilities were excellent throughout. Falling asleep to the sounds of the jungle and waking up to howler monkeys was unforgettable, and seeing the resident sloth several times was a real highlight.
The whole place has such a genuine, eco-focused feel, and the farm-to-table experience was second to none. It all felt so thoughtful, peaceful and completely connected to nature.
If you’re thinking of booking Finca Luna Nueva, don’t hesitate. It’s a truly special place.
Be aware it is a little out of town, if you have a car no problems - and they can arrange all the trips you might need for the area if not.
