Highly recommend
Pros:

We stayed here for one night to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Our room had a beautiful view out to the river tweed, it was also clean, spacious and had a very comfortable bed (we both suffer from back pain so a comfortable bed is a must). I recommend trying some cocktails as we did in the afternoon. We ate elsewhere in the evening but really enjoyed our breakfast in the morning. Friendly and efficient staff serving and a very good number of choices. I would highly recommend this hotel, we had a lovely time and wouldn’t hesitate to book again in the future

3 day break with dog
Pros:

Stayed here with our dog for 3 nights. Hotel location is great with front access direct to town centre and back door access to the river and parkway which was great for the dog.
Rooms were good.. clean, tidy and spacious.

Special mention to Laura on Reception who was excellent from point of booking direct on telephone to our leaving. Laura was friendly, helpful and professional at all times.

Breakfast was a slight let down with improvements needed on food (cold on some occasions) and service which could have been more attentive.

Pros:

Central location for shopping and scenic walks also very polite and friendly staff.

Cons:

It would have been nice to have a fridge in the room to keep bottled water cold as it was extremely hot weather during our stay. Everything else was lovely.
