Die Lage, das urige alte Haus!

Cons:

Die sehr enge, steile Treppe ins Zimmer war zwar ganz lustig, aber eben auch schwierig zu bewältigen.Erforferte eine gewisse Beweglichkeit und Kraft mit Koffer.

Pros:

Very central position in Stow which is a great base to tour the Cotswolds.
Staff were very friendly and the breakfast was great.
Our room, one of the courtyard cottages, was clean and well equipped for our stay.

Cons:

We were there over the recent heatwave and the room was not equipped to cope as only one 1 small opening window. Our room was duplex and we were unable to use the lounge area upstairs to relax with the TV as the heat was unbearable. Obviously not the fault of the hotel but may be worth them providing a fan to cater for hot periods. The only way we coped was leaving our door open when in the room but this isn't ideal as there is a lot of footfall there as it is a cut through to the main square and open to the public. This isn't a criticism of the hotel, merely a suggestion for their consideration as we are predicted more hot periods.

Excellent location, very clean, excellent facilities and quirky.
Pros:

Quaint cottage accommodation which was very clean with extras such as shampoo. We were pleasantly surprised on arrival. A much needed fan was also in the room.
We ate our main meals there and we both enjoyed. Good menu choices.

Cons:

The TV didn't work and the breakfast was a bit slow we waited around 40 minutes.

Would recommend
Pros:

Really lovely hotel and the staff are so friendly and helpful. Property very reasonably priced. Evening meals were immense.

Cons:

T market square is quite lively on a Friday and Saturday night, and the shops next door have very early deliveries, which would have been fine except our room was right on the front so not the most refreshing stay but no fault of the hotel, just busier than what we are used to.

Lovely old building. Scrambled eggs with smoked salmon good said it came with toast but no toast on plate. Had to go to
