Pros:

Sadly, I was ill and didn’t go, but have my two friends information. They were happy with the hotel overall. The location re; the Sheepdog trail was great.

Nichts für Perfektionisten, aber ein echtes Erlebnis

Super zentrale Lage, tolles Pub und ein sehr herzliches Team. Das Zimmer war sauber, renoviert und funktional top. Ein grosses Lob an die Mitarbeiter, die unsere Taschen mit viel Humor über die schmale, steile Treppe in den 2. Stock (kein Lift) getragen haben!

Cons:

Man wohnt in der Geschichte: Die Wände sind dünn, es ist hellhörig und das Zimmer zittert, wenn auf dem Gang jemand geht. Die Renovierung ist für englische Verhältnisse völlig normal und okay – wer allerdings Schweizer Perfektion bei der Verarbeitung und in den Ecken erwartet, sollte lieber wegschauen.

Under whelmed with the facilities. The breakfast staff were lovely, accommodating and welcoming.

We had booked four rooms in total as a family and had not expected that some would be accessed through a very tight stairwell. The rooms on the second floor were okay but not worth the money. The access, the mattress quality and very little hanging facilities. We were all attending a family wedding.
