Wonderful old couch house in the heart of the village with lots of character

Right In the heart of a beautiful cotswolds village lots of character beams and old furniture

Cons:

We stayed up stairs Very steep stairs. But the staff brought up our bags which we really appreciated

Great location, nice room.

Cons:

The steps are very steep as its on the highest floor, and as a person with difficulty walking I found this very challenging and needed assistance from my partner to navigate these.

Excellent location: very friendly staff.
Pros:

The attitude of the staff was excellent. Very friendly and always happy to help. The breakfasts are very good and a good range of options. The location - in the main square - is excellent and although central it is very quiet late at night : which is good for sleeping.

Da localização e do tamanho do quarto.

Cons:

Quarto muito quente, sem ar condicionado.
Existia uma ventoinha mas o calor era imenso! Talvez seja um momento excecionalmente quente em Inglaterra e por isso os quartos não estão preparados para tanto calor ( hoje à volta de 40 graus).

But worth mentioning as others have that the stairs up to the second floor floor are exceptionally steep and would not suit anyone elderly or with any physical issues

Un hôtel typique de qualité au coeur d'une magnifique région
Pros:

Emplacement idéal pour visiter la région. Equipements de la chambre et prestations de qualité, excellente literie. accueil très agréable. Parking dans l'hôtel très appréciable.

Cons:

Environnement toutefois un peu bruyant (salle de restaurant en extérieur sous les fenêtres de la chambre).

A step back in time!
Pros:

Amazing old inn - felt like we stepped back in time. Both outside and inside retained the old time feel!
Full English breakfast was great!

Cons:

Tv would not get all channels - staff attempted to help but without success and said they would get someone in to fix - we survived 😄

Great value for money in prime location
Pros:

Excellent location. Lovely breakfast. Good value for money.

Cons:

Although the details mentioned a lot of steps the last flight were very steep and narrow which was difficult to climb with a suitcase. However once up the stairs the room was perfect with a prime view of the square.
