Lovely Lakes getaway
Pros:

Lovely staff. Very friendly and accommodating. Cosy rooms and great lounge/kitchen set up. Very good value for money. Some of the other pubs I used to come to in the area have lost a bit of their charm. This one hasn’t.

Disappointing stay at what is a beautiful part of the country
Pros:

Nothing really. We stayed 3 nights,had no room service,no replenishment of tea,milk,biscuits. They never cleaned the wash room or even emptied tge bin. On first observation the accommodation was quite quirky,but ended up being quite a hazard. The bed was upstairs but the toilet down stairs so at night time it proved a bit scary . There was hardly any staff. One girl doing all the breakfasts...she dud her best. The first night we ate in the bar area which served as the 'restaurant' and both things I ordered,they did not have. Very disappointing.We would not stay there again

There was no communal lounge to rest. The 'restaurant ' and breakfast area were also the bar area.As previously mentioned,nobody attended to the room,bed,coffee,tea bags,biscuits were not replenished

Pros:

Location was perfect.

Cons:

2nd floor room accessed via very steep stairs. Floor in room very uneven bed propped up on one side to even it up. Very noisy from around 1pm onwards right by a storage room.

We had a great stay with lovelly breakfast.
Pros:

Proximity to the outside as we have a puppy.

Cons:

All was good maybe just the toilet seat loose and wouldn’t stay up.

Central location and very cute old building.
Pros:

Very good breakfast. ideal site.

Cons:

The big disappointment was the wi-fi. Non existant in our room. The staff said there was nothing they could do to improve things.

Such a shame but I wouldn’t stay again as no organisation, dismissive staff.
Pros:

The location was lovely, very nice breakfast

Cons:

Poor organisation, ran out of food at 6pm on a Saturday night & had to refund customers who had waited for their food. I felt sorry for the girl behind the bar but the other staff were useless.

I stayed in something called a cottage - and it really needs some updating. Rusty shower shelf, underwhelming shelves on wall my sink and sink unit . Floor could do with replacing in Bathroom. Disappointing dinner and breakfast
