A slight bit of shock!
Pros:

Great location as we were at a wedding down the street. Also excellent views of the water and very convenient.

Cons:

We were told the room was ready and when we got to the room the bed had not been made. We went to the front office and asked to be changed to a ready room since we had an event to attend to but they said that we should go get ready and ring them and they would send someone to make the bed. While in the process of getting ready, a man came barging in the door. No knock. Just unlocked it with a pass key and walked right in to make the bed which we found slightly alarming. The other item I would like to bring to the attention of future travelers to this location is that they gave us a room with a loft bedroom. The only thing in the loft was the bed. The bathroom was downstairs as well as everything else and The loft was only accessible by a spiral staircase. I was never made aware of this situation when booking the room and I found it difficult to navigate being a 68-year-old man with a severe case of neuropathy. In the future, they should certainly make aware of this situation to their incoming guests.

Breakers Getaway
Pros:

The location, the beach, the quiet.

Cons:

The spiral staircase, no bathroom upstairs, pools being closed the week leading up to memorial day.

Disappointing
Pros:

Location and staff good.

Cons:

Room dated. The shower was horrible!! Only half the water game out of the shower.
TV old, picture was fuzzy. I had stayed in the complex before and our space was wonderful

Great location for the beach!
Pros:

Good location for the beach. Clean. Staff was helpful. Loved the electric fireplace. Full sized fridge/microwave in the room. Free parking on site.

Cons:

Room was smaller than expected. A little bit run down (holes in the wall where a towel rack had been moved, stains on the bathroom ceiling, etc). No elevator/handicap access to upper floor. Parking lot was pretty small. No counter space in the bathroom.

Utterly disappointing!
Pros:

The spiral staircase.

Cons:

•The front door needed to be SLAMMED to shut & lock.
•no lock on the sliding glass door.
•screen for window off & laying on deck.
•telephone didn’t work.
•neither tv worked.
•table warped & so wobbly we had to jam paper under it.

We were so disappointed with the accommodations & the lack of anyone assisting us to a different room that we left the property to go elsewhere. We will be sure to let everyone know NOT to book The Breakers. We’ve had NUMEROUS stays at Seaside Resort without issue.

Good People & Good Surroundings=a Good Time!
Pros:

THE FRONT DESK STAFF (Yolanda & Begins with a C) added much to the gorgeous surroundings! It was our
25th anniversary and they arranged to have a goodie bag sent to our room; So thoughtful!

Cons:

Well, due to the weather, we weren’t able to explore as much, but it had nothing to do with the staff.
It’s strictly due to living in New England😆

Pros:

We stayed at the Breakers South. Our unit had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms which was very nice and what we wanted. The unit was small with a two person jetted bath tub in the same room as the kitchen table. The building was old and the carpet should probably be replaced. Even though we had access to the amenities at the Sounding I would not say we stayed at a Resord.

Pros:

Great pool and cute beach. The room inside had plenty of towels and was very clean. Shower needed fixing. Ring that controls the shower was broken. We were on the first floor and had a herd of elephants above us. Heard everything! Squeaky doors everywhere. Our room had a whirlpool tub next to the dining room table.Not sure why.LOL!! Kitchen was spotless and looked new. Beautiful view of the pool and water.
