An exceptional hotel operated by truly professional staff.
Pros:

.Location - close to Cathedral and center. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast. Rooftop terrace provided great views across the city. Proximity to restaurants and tapas . History of the building (originally a palace)

Storage for clothes rather limited.

A bit of a disappointment.
Pros:

The room was a good size and the bed was comfortable.
Excellent breakfast.
Great view of the cathedral from the roof terrace.

Cons:

The roof terrace was very underwhelming and with some effort it could have been much more attractive.
The furniture was all covered even when the weather was good! The potted plants were in a state of decline/dead. For the price we paid I would expect more.
The decor throughout the hotel is very bland, not much to suggest that you're in Spain!
I wanted to book for three days but this wasn't possible on booking com. I booked for two days and a separate booking for one day all with booking. com. We paid almost as much for the third day Monday as we paid for the two days Saturday and Sunday! Where is the sense in this???

Absolutely fabulous time in Seville. We will be booking a return trip in the future.
Pros:

All Staff excellent and a credit to your Hotel. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was lovely and an excellent selection available. Swimming pool a bonus. Roof Top Bar opened for the season on Thursday so we were able to enjoy a couple of drinks. Location of Hotel excellent and close to major attractions.

Leider ist die Rooftopbar nur am Wochenende geöffnet. Der Schal auf dem Bett war fleckig und schmuddelig. Das passte nicht zum sonst sauberen Gesamtbild!

as you say we had asked for rooms near each other and they were not - on a different level even. We had booked 2 premier rooms, but the 2 rooms were totally different - one was a premium style room and one was a lower standard room. Not very impressive and we only found this out mid way through the break upon seeing the other room, very sad and to think we'd paid for 2. Also sad one was down a flight of 10 stairs and we'd asked for if possible 2 rooms together and no stairs as we have friends amongst us with walking difficulties especially on stairs. we had booked so far ahead to try and get this arranged. breakfast was not explained what was available and it was only on the 3rd morning (our last) that we found we could have fried eggs or an omlette - sad we hadn't been told what was available beforehand
