Food was excellent at breakfast and evening meal.. Staff work very hard, look smart, friendly and very helpful. Not been for two years and like the improvements to the bathrooms and bar toilets. Smartened up in the public areas so looks very nice.
It was nice to be visiting again. Location is very good with a bus stop metres away. Parking very good too.
My only criticism is the dated furniture, furnishings and decor in the bedroom we had. Because it's an old building our bed was sloping and it was quite uncomfortable so I didn't sleep very well. Maybe offer a bed topper for added comfort. I'm guessing the bedrooms will be updated however it will take some time to complete any refurbishments.

Lovely old building but well maintained. Staff very welcoming and accommodating. Room was spacious and clean and the bed was super comfy. The best bit was the fluffy towels! I fully recommend the Atholl so much so I booked a room for my friends before I left.

L’edificio e’ molto carino esternamente . Comodo il parcheggio privato esterno . Personale gentilissimo . Camera abbastanza pulita . Colazione buona.
L’odore di cibo nelle parti comuni era veramente fastidioso . Volevamo cenare al ristorante hotel , ma l’ odore del cibo era troppo pesante. Per un 4 stelle la camera era un po’ piccola e mancava il frigorifero . Moquette dappertutto . Ascensore molto lento , ma almeno c’era.
The staff are so friendly and go above and beyond. The food is delicious and the service always excellent.

Room was clean and comfortable.
We ate at the hotel restaurant on the Friday night and i ordered the steak. It was hugely disappointing. The quality of it was of a very poor standard, really fattyand was overcooked. The onion rings were extremely oily and the chips seemed like very cheap frozen chips with zero taste.
Clean and cool room, ideal for higher than expected temperatures!

Das Essen im Hotelrestaurant. Das Thai Curry war leider nicht gut. Aber es haben viele Leute dort gegessen, die mit anderen Gerichten anscheinend zufrieden waren. Ins Zentrum muss man mit dem Auto fahren.
Struttura elegante e accogliente, pulita e ben organizzata. Personale attento e cortese, strepitosa la colazione.

Recommend more comfortable mattresses and option to replace duvet with sheet and blanket as duvets are too hot in summer.
