Fabulous location on the seafront. The public areas are spacious and very comfortable. Food is excellent. A superb choice of individually prepared dishes at breakfast in a calm and charming restaurant. Much old world quality but with modern facilities, eg en-suite shower room.
The bedroom was a little cramped. There were 2 chairs but it would have been nice to have had room for a small table too. Understandably it is an old building and space has been taken from the original room to incorporate the essential shower room.
It was disappointing not to have been able to access the public areas including the restaurant for a large part of one of our days there, due to a private booking.
Great location.
Good breakfast.
Expensive for a small room
Position is excellent, out of the centre but still on the seafront.
Food at breakfast excellent.
Furnishings are relaxing and inviting.
Our room was too hot and A/C was not working. There was a horrible smell in the area of the bed which was very noticeable. The tea and coffee facilities were very dated, as no coffee machine and no herb type or alternative teas. We were shown to a table for breakfast but then waited ages ( apologies were given) , and again, no fresh coffee option.
Seagulls extremely noisy all night and we had to have windows open to cool down.
The location was superb and the hotel was the cleanest we have visited for a very long time. Nice toiletries and the room was beautiful
All of the staff were very friendly and approachable nothing felt like it was too much trouble.
Loved everything so nothing I would like to see changed
Lovely views and nice walks.
