Lovely stay. Perhaps dont visit during a heatwave.
Pros:

The location was so good. Very close to everything.

The staff were very helpful, always had a smile. Offering us cold towels on arrival.

Breakfast was very good, loads of choice.

Cons:

No Air Con. We understand that there was a heatwave. However, our room was like a furness. My partner did not sleep the first night at all.
We were provided with fans, which circulated warm air.

Welcoming and exceptional friendly reception staff - made you feel welcome from the word go! Nice breakfast, comfortable big rooms. Cosy hotel with old world Swiss charm. Located within comfortable walking distance (with luggage )from train station.

Lage ist sehr gut
Parkplätze waren alle belegt, deshalb teures Parkhaus
Preis günstig

Cons:

Frühstück kaum frische Früchte, Beeren, etc.
keine Lüftung in den Zimmern. Zimmer war im EG direkt auf einen Fussweg mit Passanten, daher konnte das Fenster nicht geöffnet werden, nur kippen.

Location is great

Cons:

Totally mismanaged. They did not give us the rooms which were specifically booked. Very inconvenient with heavy bags as no access via lift to the floor. Beds were bad , not as opted. They shifted one of the rooms but temporarily misplaced baggage items during the shift. Breakfast very average

Das Hotel kann ich weiterempfehlen
Pros:

Die Lage am Rande der Altstadt ist ein großer Vorteil für Bahnreisende. Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und ließ keinen Wunsch offen, das personal war immer freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Mein Zimmer mit eigener Terrasse war natürlich ein Super-Bonus, danke dafür.

Cons:

Mir fällt dazu nicht viel ein, im Treppenhaus könnte eine Erneuerung der Teppiche nicht schaden, aber die Ausstattung der Zimmer ist für mich sehr schön und "up to date" gewesen.

Pros:

The location was amazing, easy walk into town, lots of restaurants locally.
The room was a good size.

Cons:

We booked into the 'budget' section. It was hot. No Aircon, barely a breeze. The fans supplied were ineffective. Bed was hard and uncomfortable. It was noisy. Kitchen staff start banging around at 6am, luggage being loaded outside the window at 7am.
Breakfast was average at best. Buffet style but portioned off into individual servings using cling film on every one.
