Great location, amazing breakfast! Rooms can be a bit refreshed.
Pros:

The breakfast and the location. The staff were friendly and polite as well.

Cons:

The room (standard room) could have been refreshed. The walls were bubbled and the washroom was never well cleaned, I had to use my own products to clean the toilet and shower.

Great experience for location and safety in Rio - but needs huge improvement in communication
Pros:

I would definitely recommend this stay for anyone who worries about safety in Rio! This was the perfect location - walking distance to the beach and so many good food spots as well, so it was easy to walk to dinner in the evenings. Breakfast was also really good and we made use of the pool, which was also really nice.

Cons:

The staff. Almost nobody spoke English and it was very difficult to communicate. We arrived at 7am after a very long journey, and they were not helpful at all to accomodate us with our luggages and for us to change. They even charged us for leaving the luggage there before checking in. Other than that, the only other thing we did not like was the gym - small and old machinery and very exposed to the heat.

Pros:

Staff were very nice and helpfull, location is excellent.
Bed was very comfortable.
Breakfast had a lot of choice.

Cons:

One lift working , was a problem.
The handrail on the stairs in places needed refixing against the wall.

Apesar dos funcionários serem muito afáveis e educados, não voltaria, por causa das condições do hotel.
Pros:

Quarto e banheiro limpos e corretos.

Cons:

Só 1 elevador funcionando, num prédio de 15 andares. Um suplício, para nós e para os funcionários da limpeza.
O outro elevador está quebrado há um mês. Além disso, só um funcionário na recepção, para resolver tudo, nim hotel cheio de hóspedes latinos . Difícil o acesso e para desembarcar com as malas . 20 minutos , no mínimo, para trazer o automóvel do estacionamento .

Quero registrar meu elogio ao Hotel Mirasol. Café da manhã muito bom, com excelente qualidade, e a localização é perfeita, muito bem situada. Ótima experiência!

Cons:

Gostaria de registrar um ponto sobre minha experiência no check-in. Meu voo foi antecipado e, por isso, cheguei um pouco mais cedo ao hotel. Solicitei, se possível, a liberação antecipada do apartamento, porém isso não foi possível, o que acabou me causando um certo desconforto, já que precisei sair e ficar andando pela cidade até o horário previsto.

Reconheço e agradeço pelo fato de terem disponibilizado um local para guardar minhas malas, o que ajudou bastante. Porém, infelizmente, essa situação no check-in acabou sendo um ponto de decepção na experiência.
