Location and history of the club
Amenities, no fridge, microwave. Didn’t even get a good view from my room
The room was decent and had the basic things one would need. I appreciated that shampoo, hand wash, and hand lotion were all provided in the room. The location was convenient, and the room had the essentials needed for a short stay.
Nothing major, but compared to another hotel I stayed at during the trip, this one definitely felt more dated in its overall look and feel. The carpet had some visible stains, and the bathroom also looked older.
The air conditioning though could definitely be improved. There was a fan and wall regulator, but I do not think the AC was actually working in my room. Even after adjusting the controls, there was no cool air coming out, only noise from the unit.
Gheri at check-in and check-out is always super friendly and respectful. Bed was comfortable. Great location for walking to the Dome for a BattleHawks game. Nice having napkins and utensils by the community microwave.
Would love to have a refrigerator in the room for beverages and leftovers
This was a perfect location to the America Center and the Gateway National Park.
The room was comfortable and clean, service was impeccable.
Friendly Staff, Gerri at the front desk was great!
COLD SHOWER, water never warmed up.
Very clean and very nice.
Overall, my experience was pleasant. However, I was not notified about the mandatory $30 parking fee when I inquired about deposits prior to my stay, which would have been appreciated.
Très bon emplacement par rapport à l’America’s Center. Établissement old school mais tres confortable et tres propre.
Je n’ai rien à redire
Room was very clean every day. Hallways were quiet, even though there was an event that included many kids.
When I walked into the lobby at 9:15 PM on Sunday, April 26th, 2026, after traveling most of the day, there was no one at the front desk. After waiting for a few minutes, I heard voices down the hall and decided to investigate. There, I found two employees who explained that the woman at the desk had gone to the bathroom but would be back shortly. A few minutes later, two hotel guests arrived at the front desk seeking assistance, yet the woman still had not returned. I returned to where I had found the other two employees to let them know she was still gone and that there were now two more people looking for help at the front desk. Fortunately, the maintenance employee was able to help the guests.
I stood there waiting for 20 minutes before the woman finally came through a side door from the lobby. She did not acknowledge my presence, even when I remarked that the other employees thought she had gotten lost. Despite my mention of waiting for 20 minutes, she showed no urgency in returning to the desk to check me in. Instead, she was busy scrolling through her phone the entire time while walking slowly. Her only response was that the employees knew she was in the bathroom, and she did not apologize for the lengthy wait.
This is a classy hotel, this employee was not. The other gals at the front desk that I talked to in the mornings were super!!
I stayed for 5 nights with my son during his competition. The price for this location was very good. I was a bit worried after reading some negative reviews and seeing the dress code, but the hotel turned out to be very nice. We only came to sleep, so we didn’t get a chance to explore the restaurants. The building is beautiful inside, with great historic vibes. The room was clean and comfortable, and all staff members were polite and friendly. A great place to stay if you’re looking for a reasonably priced option in downtown.
The atmosphere was very nice. The building has a sense of history, which gave it a calm and charming impression.
The water pressure in the shower was quite weak.
Also, my room was connected to the neighboring room by just a single door, and I could clearly hear the couple next door being intimate multiple times during the night, which was very disturbing.
In addition, I stayed on the 8th floor facing the bridge, and there was loud noise from vehicles racing outside late at night, which continued for about four hours.
Old world elegance. Beautiful property, and the staff was wonderful. Small rooms - but that’s to be expected. The bed was super comfy!
