Needed a bit more atmosphere in the hotel bar
El hotel se encuentra un poco retirado de algunas de las zonas más turísticas de la ciudad, pero aun así es de fácil acceso a todas partes. ¡La habitación era amplia; me encantó que tuviera alfombra, cama, sábanas y almohadas deliciosas y un baño de muy buen tamaño! El personal es súper atento, amable y muy dispuesto a ayudar en todo. Estaban pendientes siempre de todo.
El desayuno puede mejorar un poco.
Excellent Location close to all the major tourist attractions in Cape Town.
Very comfy bed and spacious well appointed room & bathroom
On day 1 I requested an early check in. Hotel informed me that they will call with feedback. Received no call.
No bathrobe or sandals provided
Slight odour in the bathroom
Bottled water wasn't replaced- Had to request and was duly provided, however, bottle cap couldn't open
The location
The staff. The vibes that I got throughout my stay, was that the staff are not motivated to work except the DOORMEN ( exceptional services, friendliness ) . One lady at the receptionist did not even look at me while talking to me. I just do like the vibes. I may be poor & do not have much money, but I was the hotel's guest. Plus no one at receptionist even bothered to help or attend to my needs to help with my luggage storage, except the DOORMAN. He better be promoted to the receptionist, and replace the receptionists with him. The buffet breakfast spread ? Not impressive at all. The staff ? I had to do everything on my own and no one even bothered to say " do you need any help ?"'
The food was good and fresh, the staff was friendly and helpful. Good location even though it's by a busy road and you can hear cars racing at night but it wasn't so bad.
Certain things were a bit outdated and can be improved. Room service delays attending to requests
Celebrated two big birthdays in Capetown at the Regency. Breakfast and breakfast staff are so lovely - thank you, Elfrieda, Justin, Zinzinisi, Akhoni and Isabel! Sasha was always around checking to ensure everything ran smoothly. Bellhops and general hotel staff also very friendly.
Location is great and view of the table mountain was fabulous.
Rooms and infrastructure need updates. Lounge was tiny and difficult to navigate. Pool was freezing cold - should not be hard to get it heated in the winter. Reception staff ranged from excellent to unhelpful. I am an Explorist and can see room for improvement here. We will be back and hope for the best for the hotel.

A very enjoyable stay, well kept, beautiful aesthetics. The staff were very friendly and willing to help. A special mention to Alex (the front desk staff, i think) as she ensured that everything went smoothly and that I was as comfortable as possible.
Will definitely return!
