Per Auto wie per Bahn läßt sich das repräsentativ anmutende Haus auf der Altstadtinsel Lindaus sehr gut erreichen. Vom Bahnhof aus sind es nur wenige Schritte. Für PKW steht ein eigene Parkplatz zur Verfügung. Die Zimmer sind angemessen groß, gut gepflegt. Die Matratze meines Doppelbetts war leicht durchgelegen. Das Bad mit einer klassischen Badewanne als Dusche stellt nicht mehr ganz den heutigen Standard dar; nicht nur für ältere Menschen ein etwas mühsamer Einstieg. Obgleich in einer belebten Umgebung, sind die Zimmer gleichwohl ruhig, es schläft sich angenehm.
Mit dem reichhaltigen, frischen Frühstück beginnt der Tag sehr gut. Vom Restaurant aus öffnet sich der Blick auf den Bodensee Richtung Bregenz und den Pfänder. Die historische Altstadt Lindaus - ein Juwel! - läßt sich von dort aus vorzüglich zu Fuß erkunden. Sehenswert das Rathaus aus gotischer Zeit, umgebaut während der Renaissance, mit seiner reich bemalten Fassade und dem außergewöhnlichen Treppenaufgang, der Hafen und das Münster.
Außen- und Innenbecken des Hotels bieten die Gelegenheit zum Schwimmen, ein großzügiger Wellness-Bereich rundet das Angebot ab.

Cons:

Die Zimmer und Gänge könnten eine Auffrischung vertragen, die Bäder wären mit stufenlos zugänglich Duschen perfekt.

Unbeatable location and friendly, courteous service, but needs a bit of updating!
Pros:

Couldn't ask for a more prime location, hotel is right on the water at the prime spot for view out to the lake. Wonderful lakeside cafe and generous breakfast buffet, along with relaxing pools and spa area. Rooms are on the large side, which is a nice treat, and have plenty of space for bags, large closet and shelves. Parking was easy, they took care of the car as soon as we dropped our bags. Room and common areas were clean and orderly. Rooms are air conditioned, though guests don't seem to be able to reduce the temperature below a set limit (?); that said we were there for an extremely hot weekend, and it still felt great in the room compared to outside.

Cons:

This is a wonderful hotel that would be really over the top wonderful with some updating and renovations! Lose the wall to wall room carpeting and the heavy, old-style drapes and upholstery. Color scheme is also very dated. Bathrooms are clean and nice but consider over time updating with more modern tiling, walk-in showers, more counter space.

Jeg glemte noget tøj på hotellet, som de påstår ikke er fundet. Enten stjæler personalet eller også har de en politik med at de ikke gemmer glemte ting eller ikke vil bruge tid på administration af at returnere det glemte.
