Comfortable hotel with friendly, helpful staff, in the attractive Sea Point area of Cape Town.
Pros:

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and quiet and accessible by lift. It was a short distance to the sea front, with a lovely promenade walk and amazing sunset views. As a solo female traveler I felt safe there.

Outstanding experience in a charming hotel

We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel on the Promenade. A charming hotel, located in a peaceful, convenient location, one minute walk to the beach. The hotel was quiet, comfortable and clean. It has a wonderful restaurant with a wide variety of delicious dishes that are thoughtfully prepared. We felt so welcome. The most memorable part was Eugene and his team who were engaging, helpful, kind and went above and beyond expectations. Truly personalized, professional service provided by passionate people. Bravo!

Pros:

Een pareltje in Sea Point! Mooie ligging, uiterst vriendelijk personeel en fantastisch eten. Via de Esplanade wandelen naar het Waterfront. Opstap plaats hop-on-hop-off bus op 5 minuten lopen.

Cape Comfy & Cozy with great Food.
Pros:

Let's be real, Cape Town has a lot of good options to stay at. If the words clean, cozy and comfy are important to your choice of accommodation then I can wholeheartedly recommend this Hotel to you. Eugene the Manager welcomed us warmly and we felt like home from second one. He and his crew make the difference. Food was amazing, try the Shashuka in the Morning and the Beef Fillet with Brandy Sauce and mouthwatering smoky tasting vegetables at Lunch or Dinner. They also have vegetarian only and vegan options. The only reason why I would like to deduct points here is so that the Hotel doesn't get overbooked and prices rise for our future stay over. Keeping the Hotel to oneself is not really fair and it kind of punishes the skill & determination of the Crew making this place so wonderful. So here we go..5 stars, actually 6 if there were 6.

The staff is truly exceptional. Each time we returned to the hotel, we genuinely looked forward to seeing them and enjoyed our conversations. They made the entire place feel like home. The bar area has a great atmosphere, and the breakfast offers a wide variety of options. The bed was extremely comfortable, and overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Cons:

It would be beneficial to install an exhaust fan in the bathroom to help reduce humidity after showering and minimize the risk of mould. Additionally, improving the Wi-Fi signal in the rooms would enhance the overall guest experience. Replacing the rug in the sleeping area with a more stylish carpet could also elevate the room’s aesthetic.

4 days seemed the perfect length of stay in Cape Town
Pros:

Didnt try the breakfast ,but only because i am not a breakfast person. It looked good
Really clever amount of plugs which is important .Loved the balcony area

Cons:

Could be a few more International news channels on the TV
Possibly a few pamphlets on the bus routes and wine estates would have made good reading

The staff and the location

Cons:

The place is due for an upgrade considering the rate per night. TV is not a smart TV and the frame hang loose, bed is not comfortable anymore and pillows are worn, sleep very uncomfortable. Ceilings where roofleaks were are covered badly and paint not neat. 3 days stay and didnt get sugar day 2 & 3 and not once we got milk. Fridge doesnt make cold.
