Beautiful setting for a remote hotel
Pros:

Beautiful setting. Very nice decor. Room was nice. Very comfortable bed. Staff was very nice.

Cons:

Too far from the city center. Control switches for the lights were complicated. The espresso machine did not work properly.

Sehr erholsame Verwöhntage in Zermatt!
Pros:

Sehr gemütliches Zimmer mit Balkon, unglaublich gutes Frühstück, super Abendessen, sehr sehr nettes Personal und Chefs, man konnte im Garten sitzen und Rehe beobachten. Das Hotel liegt am Ende von Zermatt weg vom Trubel des Dorfkerns, wir haben das sehr genossen. Es gibt eine großartige Masseurin, einen kleinen ganz feinen Spa-Bereich und ein Gym mit der top Ausstattung! Wir kommen sicher wieder!

Urlaub für Körper und Seele in Ruhe und mit fantastischen Essen
Pros:

Der tolle und unkomplizierte Transfer von Zermatt aus :)
Die noch tollere Lage etwas weg von den vielen Touristen und einfach angenehm ruhig sodass man jede Sekunde geniessen kann neben dem majestätischen Matterhorn .
Gibt es etwas schöneres als dies auch noch aus einer XXL Badewanne zu sehen - unvergesslich und Bilder die ewig bleiben - DANKE dafür an den Erbauer dieses unvergesslichen Hotels .
Als wir ankamen wurde uns alles gezeigt bis ins Zimmer und noch besser erklärt (das Plättli) was bereits im Zimmer war und einfach fantastisch geschmeckt hat :)
Personal was wirklich ALLES möglich macht :) Ein fantastischer fast vergessener mix aus Gentelman like, Freundlichkeit und einfach Herz ♥️
Das ganze Ambiente ist perfekt abgestimmt und lässt herzen höher Springen .
Wenn man sich dies gönnt , wird es jedem in jeglicher Hinsicht einfach besser gehen :)

Ein perfekter Aufenthalt zum Gnießen und Wohlfühlen am Rand von Zermatt.
Pros:

Sehr persönlich geführtes Hotel in ruhiger Randlage von Zermatt. Das Hotel ist bis ins Detail geschmackvoll, sauber und zum Wohlfühlen, das gilt natürlich auch für die Zimmer (in unserem Fall. ein Spa Doppeözimmer). Das Frühstücksbüffet ist hochwertig bestückt und auch wenn man zu späterer Zelt erscheint, ist das Angebot uneingeschränkt vorhanden. Wir waren auch in dem zum Haus gehörenden Restaurant und auch hier waren wir sehr angetan von den Gerichten. Neben wirklich sehr guter Zubereitung waren auch die Portionen wunderbar. Das Personal war durchweg sehr freundlich und darauf bedacht, dass man sich als Gast Willkommen fühlt und keine Wünsche offen bleiben.

Wonderful Hotel
Pros:

This hotel, staff and area are all exceptional. Everyone was so friendly to us from the moment we arrived and we were upgraded to a spa room. I don't often leave reviews, but The Matthiol team and hotel gave us a truly wonderful holiday and went far above and beyond our expectations. Thank You

Ein wunderschönes Boutique-Hotel in traumhafter, ruhiger Lage mit herzlichem Service, hervorragender Gastronomie und ech

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt im Matthiol Boutique Hotel. Besonders gefallen hat uns die ruhige Lage am Ortsrand von Zermatt – fernab des Trubels und perfekt, um zur Ruhe zu kommen und die Bergwelt zu genießen. Die Aussicht auf das Matterhorn ist beeindruckend und verleiht dem Hotel eine ganz besondere Atmosphäre. Das gesamte Team war außergewöhnlich freundlich, herzlich und aufmerksam. Unser Zimmer war sehr schön und gemütlich eingerichtet. Es wirkte etwas dunkler als manche moderne Hotels, was uns persönlich jedoch überhaupt nicht gestört hat und vielmehr zum alpinen Charme beigetragen hat. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir außerdem die schöne Terrasse zum Verweilen, den geschmackvoll gestalteten Wellnessbereich sowie das hervorragende Restaurant mit sehr leckerem Essen.

Cons:

Es gab nichts Wesentliches zu beanstanden. Das Zimmer war recht dunkel, was mich persönlich aber nicht gestört hat.
