It is good value for the money, across the street from a Michelin restaurant, excellent brunch!
Pros:

The staff were very friendly, courteous and prompt about any request. The location was excellent for my purposes, as I needed to walk to the QEII Theatre daily. It is a very old, family run business. They have "outlasted" the crazy expansionist tendencies of extremely high, modern housing in Vancouver, thankfully.

Cons:

Carpeting could use a change. The building is lovely, but a bit quirky. The elevator is old and slow, the handrails for walking up and down stairs (which I do a lot) is not always connected consistently.

A perfect hotel for its location and how well it has been kept up.
Pros:

Great location and very vintage.

Cons:

Our plane got postponed by 1 day, due to a shutdown at the airport, but we still had to pay for the room. This was a Booking, com issue.

Great time staying at a quaint Hotel
Pros:

This 3.5 Star Hotel goes above and beyond in all areas. Location is fantastic, being a 6 minute walk from the train or 15 minutes from the Cruise Terminal. The check in staff are so helpful. Hotel is kept in very good condition, please bear in mind it is over 100 years old. Cleanliness was great. Could only book a room with a shared bathroom, but this was never a problem with plenty of bathrooms to choose from. Beds were comfortable but would have preffered a queen to a double. Room size was good...room 202 and 219. Definitley will stay again and recommend.

Very comfortable central hotel
Pros:

The hotel supplied the lighter bedding I had requested; the bathroom was spotlessly clean, and the robe in the wardrobe was welcome. The luggage store was secure. Excellent location just minutes from the Canada Line and some good places to eat.

Cons:

A kettle in the room would have been appreciated as I'm not going to go downstairs in a dressing gown to get some hot water.

Great value beautiful art deco hotel
Pros:

Best value in downtown Vancouver. Beautiful art deco hotel with very helpful considerate staff. The room was on the small side but very comfortable and amenities were exactly what you’d want - full bathroom and places to store clothing.
