Great location in the city, historic charm, friendly staff and atmosphere. Parking arrangement with office block next door worked well and felt safe. We had an ensuite room with a standard double bed. It was good value for the location and time of year.
A bigger bed, air con that didn’t blast directly onto the bed and the lack of tea and coffee making facilities in the room (although complementary coffee and tea was available at certain times just off the lobby)

Location it was just a few blocks from subway and 15 min walk to cruise terminal was a sink in room

Classy old timey hotel, real classy joint if ur looking for a private joint thats close to all the granville action
The only downside being the wiring of the building so if ur looking to doomscroll before sleeping while charging your stuff hope you got a long charger.

Location was great well located to everything
Room was to cramped to much in the room for its size
First and foremost the location and friendliness and service of the staff. Location is central and close to many food options as well as to the central train station which goes to YVR airport.
The hotel is somewhat Spartan in nature, no tv. In the room , no in room toilet and bathroom, room size is small compared to other hotels I stayed with in BC or Alberta. In short not for everyone.

Great location, not noisy, soap & other toiletries provided, shared bathroom was always clean, staff helpful, easy to check in and out whenever you wish, nice to have a discount in the restaurant next door, which was a nice spot.
My only issue was that as far as I could see there were no sinks in the women’s restroom in the second floor. There was hand sanitiser, but that doesn’t kill some bacteria and viruses related to poop, like norovirus. You should really wash your hands with soap and water after using the bathroom, especially a shared one. Not having a sink means someone would have to walk from the restroom to their room, potentially spreading viruses by touching door handles etc, to use the sink in their room. That didn’t seem very sanitary, although I can see there was an attempt to remedy this with purrell - that isn’t really good enough in this case, however. I opted to use the mixed bathroom, which luckily, was always empty.
Also, may have been more convenient to have hairdryers in the rooms than in the bathroom, so someone doesn’t have to hog it drying their hair.
