Great location! Great Staff, Great breakfast!
Pros:

I liked everything. Location is great. I travel to Guangzhou by train and on the way in I took the subway line 2 (blue one) all the way to station Sun Yat Sen (30 min ride) and then a few min walk to hotel. All staff was amazing, all very helpful all the time. Special mention to Jinny for helping with the AMAP app. Features. The Sun Yat Sen park is just 5 min away, awesome peaceful park to jog, walk or just sit nearby the 163 years old Ficus trees (banyan). Also Just 20 min away walking to main shopping streets and malls. And easy connection to line 1 (yellow line) to go to other tourist attractions. Breakfast is great. Lots of options to choose from! Since the hotel is well known and on a Main Street, taxis can also be hailed within minutes by the valets. I will stay at the Guangdong Hotel next time I am in Guangzhou again. Thanks again!

Cons:

The only thing I have to improve is to be able to use the same WIFI code for the room when one is in the lobby. They are different. But that is minor issue if one has eSIM anyway.

Het was een fijn hotel om in te verblijven.
Pros:

Grote schone kamer en snelle liften.
Niet iedereen spreekt Engels bij de receptie, maar er wordt wel meteen iemand gebeld om te helpen met het vertalen.
Kitty sprak vloeiend engels en was erg attent. Zodra Kitty mij zag bij de receptie, kwam ze meteen naar mij toe om mij te helpen. Dat heb ik erg gewaardeerd!

Cons:

Ik vond het jammer dat je het hotel alleen via een loopbrug kon bereiken als je met de metro vanuit Guangzhou East railway station bij Peasant Movement Institute of Gongyuanqian halte uitstapte. Beste metrohalte is de Sun Yat Sen Memorial Hall halte. Hiervoor moet je wel overstappen van lijn 1 naar lijn 2 bij Gongyuanqian en dan is het meteen de volgende halte. Sun Yat Sen Memorial Hall is de dichtstbijzijnde metrohalte voor dit hotel en je zit dan aan de juiste kant van Dongfengzhong road om bij het hotel te komen. Met Didi/taxi moet je toch op zo’n half uur rekenen om bij het hotel te komen. Metro is sneller, als je bij de juiste halte uitstapt en een niet te zware koffer meeneemt, vanwege de vele trappen die je tegenkomt.

Un petit week-end entre collègues à Guanghzou
Pros:

Tout est parfait dans cet hôtel.
L’emplacement est très facilement accessible par métro.
Le buffet du petit déjeuner est très copieux et varié.
Le personnel est très sympathique et professionnel.
La proximité du mausolée et du mont bayou permettent d’attaquer rapidement des visites intéressantes

Pros:

Good location, walking to the parks, memorial and hall, temple or shops and malls takes about 10 minutes, there is Starbucks and 7E near the metro station. So, for the city exploring is one of the best options.
Clean and big rooms for reasonable price. There is a nice lobby with small pond filled with the carps.

Cons:

The only confusing thing about our stay at the hotel was breakfast. There were a lot of common products like eggs and ham, but tasted weird, ended up eating pork dim sum and fruits.
