Great location.
Good shower.
Powerful hairdryer.
Paper cups for coffee in the room. Three of the four sunbeds were broken. We had read a review from May 26 that also stated this so would have expected them to be fixed or replaced.
Review of Aire Hotel, Almería
I recently stayed at the Aire Hotel in Almería and, while it has a few positives, several practical and maintenance issues made the stay disappointing.
The room layout is the biggest drawback. There is no private bathroom—the sink, toilet, and shower are all openly positioned within the bedroom. This offers almost no privacy, which is especially uncomfortable if you’re sharing a room with a friend rather than a partner.
The rooms also lack net curtains, meaning you either sit in darkness with the curtains closed or open them fully and lose all privacy. As a result, the room gets very little natural light unless you’re comfortable being visible from outside.
There is only one lift, and it’s extremely small. The door closes unusually quickly, and several times it shut on us, banging our arms as we tried to get in. It doesn’t feel safe or convenient, especially when carrying bags.
We had breakfast, but I wouldn’t choose it again. The selection was poor, the area felt cramped, and the overall cleanliness wasn’t great. One whole stack of plates was completely dirty, clearly not checked after coming out of the dishwasher. Even the jars containing nuts, cereals, and similar items didn’t look particularly clean, which was quite off‑putting.
The rooftop pool area also needs attention. Several sunbeds were broken, and the space didn’t feel well maintained. There were no beach towels available at the pool—you have to request them from reception, but this wasn’t communicated anywhere, leaving guests unsure of where to get them.
We used the spa, where we were given bathrobes with no pockets. It sounds minor, but it becomes surprisingly inconvenient when you have nowhere to keep your room key or glasses while moving between spa areas.
On a positive note, the bar was excellent, thanks to the bartenders. They were skilled, friendly, and created a genuinely enjoyable atmosphere—definitely the highlight of the stay.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was great in relation to the rest of the city but also within the square and with views of the castle. The pool and breakfast area was excellent. The restaurant next door was amazing.
Before I start, I knew these things before booking so was not surprised but the room was a bit small - no drawers or desk/dressing table, And the breakfast was lacking a hot option.
Nada.
A beautiful view from the terrace and helpful staff. Comfy bed .
Swimming pool was small for the amount of guests. 2 of the loungers were broken and there was a machine on the terrace to buy drinks and snacks but it was quite expensive.
Breakfast was very good a lot of chose and they had a lot of gluten and lactose free food for my girlfriend
A localização
Wonderful location - close to center and all cathedrals. Close to small restaurants. I booked and enjoyed spa and baths. Also breakfast and roof restaurant/breakfast was very good - views to dye for :)
Our room was small - not enough place to put 2 suitcases. However to was workable. Parking is arranged in nearby underground commercial parking. Be aware that navigation is limited in old cities - we had to drive through old city which was stressful. Clerks at the hotel should give better instruction on how to find parking place.
