It's in a really good location, plenty of places nearby to eat and shop but like others say there are protesters outside, we could see them from our window and they made noise all into the night.
We came a day early and they had us in a bigger room and made a deal with us that we could stay in the bigger room for a slight charge. Sounded great, up after being there on the 2nd day we came back to the hotel late and they said they made a mistake and made us move... They tried to make us move that night and tried to get into our room which was real weird.
Too much hassle with all the noise and miscommunication of the staff, I won't stay here again.
I wish I could upload video of the noise from my room if the disgruntled ex workers!
Clean and spacious
Only bad was the strike outside the hotel
Right around the corner from Myeongdong night market and shopping area. There’s also an Incheon shuttle bus that picks up 2 blocks from this hotel. The hotel itself is fair, nothing special but certainly does the trick.
Good location.
On our first 1 hour, the toilet was not working and water was gushing from the bottom of the toilet. It wasn’t even from the top, toilet water was flowing on the whole bathroom floor!
I complained to transfer us, but they said the engineer fixed the problem with the plunger so all is good for the house cleaning to clean the the floor the next morning.
Unsanitary, not accommodating and I was hesitant to flush it afterwards, so we used the lobby bathroom instead.
For the 4 star rating, I expected much better BASIC feature in a hotel room. A TOILET is basic, it reminded me of a horror movie but instead of blood, it’s toilet water flowing.
It was a good stay in almost all material ways save the semi permanent protest area with chairs tables and protest signs as a result of employee firings at the main entrance. One should be aware that there may be a large protest against the hotel taking place at the one and only pedestrian entrance to the hotel on a day of your stay (as was my case).
Great hotel with lots of shopping and food nearby. Amazing location and would definitely stay here again.
The staff and the Room attendant are very nice and helful. The Hotel room is very clean. Everyday they clean the room and change towel and bedsheet. Easy to Shopping 10minutes only to myeongdong streer. And safe.
The room so clean, Everyday they clean and change the bedsheet and towel. And even the toilet so clean and the staff and the room attendance was so very friendly and helpull. It's close to shopping and easy. Also safe to walking around even in the middle of the night.
Wheelchair friendly
The hotel is situated right behind the famous Myeondong shopping area. You can take the airport train to Seoul Station and change to Line 4 and alight two stations later at the Myeondong Station. Go to Exit 9 and it is just 5 m from it. The staff are helpful with your request but not friendly, likely due to the some industrial conflicts with the management because there were some “sit in” protesters right outside the hotel.

I don’t like to leave bad reviews about hotels.That why I try to book 4* + hotel for our holiday.
This one was not even far to have 4*.
Although the property is old, the room was kept very clean and the location was excellent
From arrival it was bad through to check out. Our room was dirty and obviously not cleaned, the decor was poor and shabby, you could clearly see stains on wood floor, stains around toilet etc. We arrived at the hotel to a large group of protesters based on sacking some staff 5 years ago and they are actually camped outside the door. We spoke to the reception staff regarding our room and they were just rude to us, they did however offer us another room for the 4 nights for an extra 600 euros. It took 2.5 days before our room was cleaned despited repeatedly complaining. The cleaning staff have priorities over the lift and you can be some time fir its free. I left a 5 euro note in the room as it was no use in Korea, when we arrived back in the evening it had gone and someone had also gone through our possessions. The 5 euros was given back to me the following day by the cleaner. I certainly would not stay thrre again nor would i recommend it.
Very strange rooms no window in part and uncomfortable old furniture, protesting workers out front with piles of trash, no amenities in room as described. Breakfast nice, the only redeeming quality was breakfast.
Convenience above all. This hotel is really convenient in terms of location. Literally a 1-minute walk from the subway station and several more from everything else.
The location is excellent, but the bath towel was too old. I suggest replacing it with a new one.
Free Parking for overnight customer does not available at that time. and front desk men said that 30,000 krw for overnight parking. this is unusual. also his talking attitude was not kind and bit irritated.
