Pros:

We originally booked just two nights here, but later regretted not staying longer. The rooms are fairly basic, but that's not what makes this place special. The real highlight is the beautiful park and its amenities: a pool with stunning views of Lake Garda, surrounded by dramatic cliffs and mountains, a fantastic restaurant by the pool (Capannina, which serves the best pizza in Riva del Garda), and direct access to the lakeside promenade, which feels like a slice of the Italian Riviera.
You could easily spend an entire week here—relaxing on the nearby beach, renting a sailboat, or taking a ferry to Limone sul Garda. It's a wonderful base for exploring the area while enjoying a truly scenic setting.

Kostnaden på 1000 EURO pr natt er ikke hotellet godt nok. For 10000 NOK for 2 voksne og ett barn forventes en høyere service. Servicen var varierende, fra topp service til mindre god service.

Amazing holiday, great hotel, really good food and wine, get rid of the silly towel policy, focus on customer experience

Amazing location, great facilities!

Cons:

The pool towel policy was ridiculous. You can only collect towels from the spa area (no where near the pools) and only between 0900-11.00 and between 1600-1900. So if you go out and come back at 11.30 and only then decide you want to go to the pool you can’t get towels. It a ridiculous system for what you pay for the room and wholly unnecessary. The room towels constantly shed white fluff, sticks to hair etc.

Stay at Du Lac
Pros:

All was great - location, facilities, hotel staff support, dining experience, park and beach. Definitely recommend this hotel for couples with kids. Our 8yo lowed kids club. Hotel is also pet friendly. Hotel park is amazing, we even ruled out going to visit a botanical garden since the hotel own park is that good.

Cons:

One needs to know that this is a far side of Garda, so reaching it from airports will take time. It took us 2.5 h to/from Milan Bergamo airport by rental car.

Great hotel, would definitely return.
Pros:

Very pretty resort, lots of wildlife in the park, ducklings, nutrias, sparrows, etc. Very nice to see.
Staff were great, very accommodating of my food allergy. Great food, very nice breakfast.

Cons:

Paid extra for a room with lake view, but wasn’t on a high enough floor to actually get a view of the lake.
