Incredible hotel in the heart of old town. Fantastic stay.
Pros:

Our room was set aside from the main hotel but was perfect, quite and charming. We loved how comfortable the bed was and how nice the bathroom and shower was. Its right in the heart of old town which was really nice, but also set back a bit from the busy loud areas. The hotel staff was really sweet, from helping with parking and picking us up in the golf cart to giving us great food, drink and activity recommendations. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in monopoli!

Cons:

We did not understand that the hotel is not in just one location but in multiple about the old city. The pool in the location we were at is a bit small but works! other than that there is nothing not to like.

Pros:

+ Upon arrival, the front desk sent me a golf cart to pick me up at the train station and when my guest arrived and I had to ask for the same service, they mentioned it was a paid service charge of 15€ every time. So I asked them if I was charged for my pick up which I never asked for and they said yes, again tacking on charges left and right speaking to me in euros and not in customer service.
When I booked the room, I booked at a double occupancy, but when I arrived,it showed that I had only paid for single and even at the rate of the room that I was paying, they charged me days before the second guest arrived. That is fine… rules. But then, they kept referring to my room (which had a seaside view) as staying in the “little room” so to say, I didn’t matter as much.
These are NOT five star hotel qualities! the worst of them all which makes me so upset, is the fact that in the middle of the month of August, the Hotel decides to trim all of their trees and bushes and plants at the pool area so every time I walked to my room, I scratched my leg with a thorn bush, and couldn’t even enjoy the pool without workers cutting down during my vacation time. Would not recommend.

Fabulous 4 day stay at Don Ferrante
Pros:

Location was superb , very friendly helpful staff, beautiful clean spacious room .Room had plenty of tea and coffee facilities with well stocked drinks fridge. Lovely bathroom with fabulous shower and piping hot water always available.Bedding and towels changed daily and with good air con. Breakfast was first class with a great variety of food and drinks.We made good use of rooftop terrace and swimming pool in main building .

A beautiful ocean escape
Pros:

We loved our stay with Don Ferrante. Of particular note were the wonderful and accommodating staff who supported us in booking tours and dinners during our stay. We loved the versatility of being in walking and/ or easy driving distance to beaches (or close towns) though also having the pool available at the hotel if we wanted to stay in. This hotel has gorgeous views of the ocean from the terrace, is in a great spot and the room had all the facilities we needed for our stay. Four nights here went very quick!

Cons:

Nothing - We were initially nervous about parking although the staff were very accommodating in helping us with getting to/from the parking garage which was not far from the hotel (would encourage you to reach out in advance, including if you would like to go in/out in the evenings :)).
