Pros:

Great location, reception really helpful, clean and cosy, great food at dinner, okay breakfast. Overall really pleased with the booking.

Cons:

No coffee/tea making facilities in the room. One morning the breakfast coffee machine wasn’t working. All small stuff but worth mentioning.

Die alte Post kann man durchaus für einen Urlaub empfehlen, solange man ein renoviertes Zimmer erhält.
Pros:

Die alte Post liegt sehr schön, eingebettet von alten Bäumen mitten im Ort. Es gibt viele Restaurants und Cafes, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten,Spazierwege usw. in unmittelbarer Nähe. Alles ist fußläufig schnell erreichbar. Die renovierten Zimmer sind sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Der sehr große Balkon ist schön zum draußen sitzen. Wir sind beim Frühstücken sehr zu ormkommend und herzlich behandelt worden und auch die Dame am Checkin war sehr freundlich.

Cons:

Wir hatten zwei Familienzimmer gebucht wovon nur eines renoviert war. Das andere ist wirklich sehr verwohnt. Im Gegenteil zu den neuen Zimmern ist das alte leider nicht einladend. Der Fußboden ist sehr verbraucht, die Betten sind ok. Das Bad hat die besten Zeiten hinter sich. Leider haben wir Zigarettenanfall am Boden vorgefunden - alles in allem sehr schade! Ein weiteres Problem kann in den Sommermonaten das große Fenster und die fehlende Klimaanlage sein, die Zimmer werden sehr warm und lassen sich nachts schwer kühlen.

Great location but confirm your room choice!
Pros:

Lovely breakfast offering and restaurant serving lunch/dinner. Perfect location in town center if your goal is to explore Oberammergau. Ample parking is available in back of the hotel.

Cons:

The room. I just wasn't pleased with our room or with the way the reception handled (or rather didn't handle at all) our dissatisfaction . The picture of the room I selected on Booking.com showed a renovated modern mountain themed room, one level. The one we were given was a far cry from that. Instead, it an older two story room with a very narrow staircase leading to the main sleeping area loft where you had to choose between using the fan or watching tv. The carpet on the main floor had far too many stains on it for my comfort level. This is a beautiful hotel. This was not the ideal room.

Un bel albergo per una fermata di una notte per un viaggio lungo al ritorno in Italia. Consigliato!!
Pros:

L'albergo era proprio in centro alla bellissima cittadina di Oberammergau. Anche se abbiamo sbagliato di un giorno, la nostra camera era pronta. Era bella, lunga, pulita e ben ristrutturata. La colazione era ricca e buona e abbiamo fatto un bel giro alla mattina in paese e poi siamo andati via entro il tempo richiesto.

Cons:

Il balcone era sopra il portone dell'albergo quindi era stretto e di metallo e non legno come gli altri, ma andava bene lo stesso

Bajuwarischer Charme mit leckerem Frühstücksbüffet und Verbesserungs-Potential im Detail
Pros:

Einrichtung, Lage und Ambiente passen optimal zu Oberammergau. Eine fehlende Klimaanlage wurde pragmatisch durch einen Ventilator ersetzt. Freundliches Personal und leckeres Frühstück machten den Aufenthalt zum positiven Erlebnis.

Cons:

Leider hatte unser Zimmer nur eine verbaute Aussicht auf den Nebentrakt und war aufgrund fehlender Klimaanlage etwas warm. Der als Parkfläche nutzbare Innenhof bedarf einer dringenden Überholung und passt so gar nicht zu der ansonsten traditionell stimmigen Vorderansicht.

Très bel établissement, bien situé et typique
Pros:

Emplacement très central, parking privé à l'hôtel.
Personnel sympathique.
Chambre en duplex avec espace salon en bas (plus agréable et joli que sur les photos), grand balcon (mais on n'a pas très envie d'en profiter, vu la vue.
Salle de restauration cosy.
Décoration générale.
Prix correct

La chambre est dans un bâtiment annexe, et donne sur le parking...dommage, on ne s'attendait pas à ça

ALLES. Der Ausblick auf die Straße. Essen im Restaurant und Frühstück waren hervorragend. Mein Enkelkind hat sich auch sehr wohlgefühlt. Es war ein schöner Abschluss unserer Reise. Wir kommen wieder.
