Nice for a day or two.
Pros:

Good breakfast. Good dinner. Nice room but the hotel is an organically grown conglomerate of structures - everything is a bit contorted, feels a bit narrow, and the window view goes onto the next wall. It is a nice environment if you like to hike or cycle, or simply like the region's wine. We did not use the spa facilities, there seem to be plenty, though the ones we saw were a bit small, too.

Cons:

Same problem as in many places - staff seems to be a wild mix of people with a wild range of skill and devotion to their job. While the hotel is actually not small, it always makes the impression of being a bit cramped as most rooms are rather small and while there are some open spaces they don't feel naturally connected to each other. The room had some sound system we didn't know how to use, with the caveat of restricting the available size (and viewing angle) of the TV. You could basically only watch it from bed.

Top Service, top Zimmer und ein famoses Frühstück - wir kommen im Oktober wieder :-)!

Unser zweiter Besuch nach einem Jahr war noch besser. Der herzliche Empfang durch die liebe Frau M.Tsikyi Randriantsarafara und das wunderschöne Zimmer 10 - was für ein Finale unserer Urlaubsreise! Wir kommen im Okt wieder für 2 Nächte :-). Vielen Dank für dieses perfekte Verwöhnpaket!

Ein wunderschöner und rundum gelungener Kurztrip im traumhaften Hotel Ritter im idyllischen Durbach!
Pros:

Wie auch schon in der Vergangenheit waren mein Patenkind und ich super happy mit dem tollen Service, dem schicken, mondänen und gleichzeitig auch sehr einladenden Hotel. Wir hatten ein ruhiges und gemütliches Zimmer. Man fühlt sich immer sofort zuhause. Auch die Außenterrasse finde ich sehr stylish und die kleine nette Boutique mit dem integrierten Kaffee im Außenbereich des Eingangs rundet das Hotelkonzept perfekt ab. Dann noch die vielen Oldtimer, die man auch gerne mieten kann....optisch alles eine absolute Augenweide. Das Schwimmbad und den Whirlpool hatten wir am Freibad Abend sogar für uns alleine. Das Frühstück und die Speiseauswahl waren wie immer fantastisch und alles super lecker. Und als Highlight hat das Personal noch den leckeren Schoko Geburtstagskuchen, den ich vorbestellt hatte, mit viel Liebe dekoriert. Alle Mitarbeiter des Hotels waren sehr aufmerksam und durchgängig immer freundlich. Durbach ist ein unfassbar schönes und idyllisches Dörfchen, landschaftlich wunderschön in der Weinregion gelegen. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen und freuen uns jetzt schon drauf!

Cons:

Den Haartrockner konnte man leider nicht fix einstellen und man musste immer den Knopf aktiv mit dem Finger drücken. Das war insbesondere für mein 11 Jähriges Patenkind etwas anstrengend.

Een echte aanrader! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Pros:

We hebben een zeer aangenaam verblijf gehad in dit hotel en zijn bijzonder tevreden over zowel de accommodatie als de service.

Bij onze aankomst werden we zeer vriendelijk ontvangen door Jannik aan de receptie. Hij was ontzettend behulpzaam, niets was hem te veel en hij sprak bovendien uitstekend Engels. Een heel fijne eerste indruk!

De kamer was zeer ruim, fris en bijzonder proper. Ook het sanitair was kraaknet en de kamer werd dagelijks netjes schoongemaakt.

Ook de rest van het hotel maakte een uitstekende indruk. Het zwembad en de bijhorende accommodatie waren mooi en zeer goed onderhouden. Overal was het duidelijk dat netheid en verzorging hier belangrijk zijn.

Kortom: een hotel waar we ons meteen welkom voelden en waar we met veel plezier zouden terugkomen. Een absolute aanrader voor wie op zoek is naar een verzorgd hotel met vriendelijke en behulpzame medewerkers! Wij komen graag nog eens terug. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Super schönes Hotel, gut gelegen. Kann es wirklich gut empfehlen.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft, mit vielen tollen Details.
Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Cons:

Die Parkplätze sind knapp.
Aber es steht ein grosser Parkplatz kostenlos in der Nähe oder man kann einen Garagenplatz vom Hotel mieten.
