According to Colombian law, only nonresident tourists are eligible for VAT exemption. To confirm tourist status at check-in, you may present the immigration stamp in your passport or the Andean Immigration Card or Mercosur Card, which details the foreign visitor's entry into Colombia (date and type of entry). Alternatively, follow immigration authorities' verification instructions.
Colombian citizens holding dual nationality are not considered foreign tourists or nonresident visitors in Colombia and therefore do not qualify for VAT refunds (as per Article 1.6.1.23.3 of Decree 1067/2015).

Staff kindness, location, breaskfast and gardens
Layout of the room doesn't flow. A TV with stand blocks the way in the middle of the bedroom. Lighting was too dim. Maintenance is not the best. The drain of the bathroom sink was not working and water didn’t go down. The pillows were too hard and high. Price is too high for the kind of bedroom and level of comfort they offer. When I complain they blamed Booking not describing well the "suite".

Excelente opción de hospedaje, cuenta con unas instalaciones espectaculares bien mantenidas, todo muy limpio y el plus lo da el personal, todos son super amables, atentos y siempre dispuestos a ayudarte. Mi hijo tenía un vuelo muy temprano y aunque aun no estaba abierto el desayuno me prepararon para llevar un sándwich, fruta y un jugo.
Una sugerencia es que en el room service la comida llega un poco fría.
The restaurant and the 24h Dunkin’ Donuts
The room didn’t seem clean, there were marks of wet rings of glasses on the bedside table, toilet had drippings on the seat, it could be from the cleaning but nobody wants to see that. No fridge. We stayed in the prime location and that one had a fridge. I didn’t realized the select didn’t have one. I asked the staff and they told me that the rooms didn’t have fridges, I wish they had offer a solution since I was counting with that fridge.
