The location is excellent. It is very near supermarkets, restaurants, Portimão old town. The swimming pool is lovely and the view is amazing. Our room had also a great view to the swimming pool and to the river which we really appreciated. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast is good. The hotel is very quiet, an excellent place to reenergise. It was a pity that we stayed only 3 days.
A 4 star hotel needs to be in excellent shape in terms of maintenance. Can’t have fridge door damaged and the shower tube black and damaged. The room ceiling needs cleaning. There are small details that make all the difference.
It was very confusing to pay the stay, as usually I pay thought booking and not directly to the property, using a link that never worked. To pay the swimming pool towel deposit, only money is accepted, this not anymore in use these days.
The hotel is in an excellent location, needs more attention to the details to be rated excellent instead of good only.
