Pros:

The location was great, and we had a beautiful view from our room.

Cons:

Upon arrival, we were told the screen in our bedroom was broken. I feel they should have replaced it or moved us to another room. The bed and pillows were old and uncomfortable. My partner’s side of the bed was so worn down that you would sink. The break was not great either: not hot food or fruit.

Alles in allem überwiegen trotz allem die Lage und der Blick auf den See.
Pros:

Die Lage ist top! Zimmer mit Blick auf den See.
Kaffee, Tee, Kakao und Wasser waren kostenlos verfügbar. Um 15 Uhr gab es noch Cookies.

Cons:

Das Geschirr beim Frühstück war leider nicht so richtig sauber. Wir haben das Besteck mit den Stoffservietten abgewischt und statt der Porzellantassen dann lieber die Pappbecher genutzt. Wir hatten leider zweimal einen Feueralarm, der aber zum Glück so schnell wieder ausging das wir auf dem Zimmer bleiben konnten.

Ausstattung der Zimmer , hie fehlt eindeutig liebe zum Beruf . Das Hotel wird runtergewirtschaftet.

Best Lodgings on the West Shore
Pros:

We own a cabin near Sunnyside and stay at Sunnyside Lodge when the cabin is rented out. We have probably stayed at Sunnyside Lodge in excess of 15 times over the last 20 years.

Over the years, we have gotten to know many staff members. It's always fun reconnecting after being away for a while.

On this occasion, we had events to attend close by. So, the lodge was very convenient for our needs.

We like the size of the rooms and the accessibility to the restaurant and bar downstairs. The rooms are reasonably priced, and the lakeview rooms are awesome. BTW you can't beat the view at any other lodges or inns on the west shore.

There are a number of fun restaurants close by if you wander off the property (which you should do).

Also, many rooms have wood-burning fireplaces with chopped wood and kindling if you like to make your own fire (which I do).

Cons:

Some of the rooms are showing some wear and tear. The menu at the restaurant could use some new recipes. That said, there is very little not to like. This is not a 5-star hotel. It's a comfortable mountain lodge in a pristine location.

Beautiful surroundings, amazing staff,

Cons:

The most uncomfortable bed, bad pillows-new and fresh -but not comfortable polyester filled pillows, chairs in room need reupholstering for lack of padding. Literally worn out where your sitting in an uncomfortable hole-rooms were nice but the beds need to be replaced. Linen was great, but doesn’t make up for the bedding.

Amazing Location .. Outstanding View.
Pros:

Amazing location in front of Lake, with outstanding view. Few minutes from downtown, church, snow parks and ski parks as well. Very good breakfast and comfortable rooms and beds. Staff very kind, and again: outstanding view.

Cons:

I asked for a room service at dinner. And actually, that meal was not so good. But this was the unique complain from me and my family.

Nice hotel & location
Pros:

Overall, it was an excellent experience. Hotel room was perfect except it could use a little brighter lighting. Even though the hotel was pet friendly, only ground floor rooms allowed pets & pets are not allowed in dining room & lounge area. Old hotel but clean, well managed & maintained. Helpful & friendly staff.

Cons:

Would have like hot breakfast, not just continental breakfast.
