Good location but tired...
Pros:

Great location for Drayton Manor access.

Cons:

The room smelled a bit like urine although it was hard to tell if this was the cleaning products. The play areas out the back are in need of renovations- the swings have no swings and the climbing frame for bigger kids is sectioned off.

Ideal for families due to the proximity of the theme park but we still enjoyed our stay without children.
Pros:

The room was spacious and had everything we needed. The restaurant had a good menu and the bar was a nice area to meet friends.
We didn’t have children with us and had booked to stay due to the location. At breakfast the restaurant staff kindly seated us in the bar area away from the busy main restaurant which was full of families and children.

Cons:

There wasn’t anything negative.

Great location to visit Thomas Land.
Pros:

Great location to visit the park just a short walk within the complex. We got an uber direct to caburys and also to come and go to the airport, just hassle free. Food in hotel is nice and very accommodating for kids.

Cons:

Standard rooms probably need updating, sofa bed for kids not very comfy and double bed is small.

Amazing with food allergies!
Pros:

What an amazing experience we’ve had, we traveled all the way from wales to experience Thomas Land for our 4 year old. We stayed in the Thomas room & it was nothing sort of amazing. It was so clean had everything we needed. Even a little gift left for our son, he loved it. He loved the beds with the tv, with YouTube & Netflix on. Our son has x3 food allergies & the head chef was absolutely amazing with his allergies and even made him food that wasn’t on the menu. I couldn’t recommend the hotel enough, the location of the hotel is great, it’s right by the park & not far to walk at all. Our room was so quiet, couldn’t hear nothing in the night, we all had a great full night sleep. Even had entertainment in the night for the kids which my son loved, all staff are very friendly & couldn’t do enough for us. Thomas Land itself was incredible, didn’t have to wait long in the queues at all. Overall an amazing experience, would definitely come again! 🙂

Hotel evening was a disappointment
Pros:

I stayed recently at the hotel with my family, and I was a little disappointed this time. I have stayed previously and that was in a Viking themed room, which was lovely. But this time I was upset. The entertainment did keep the children entertained in the garden, which was a plus. I went to the reception early evening to request a travel cot expecting that by the time I had got up to my room that it would be there waiting. When I did go back, it hadn’t arrived yet. I did give it another hour or so thinking maybe there was just a small delay, eventually I called the reception and stated I had asked for the travel cot around 6pm. My response was ‘ oh, I’ll do it now’, It then took until 11pm for it to be brought up to the room and by this point my child was upset, despite trying to offer all the comforts I could, attempting to get her to sleep. When they arrived with the cot, I also stated that the window just wouldn’t close and appeared to be broken, I said I wasn’t comfortable with leaving the window open all night because I felt like it was a safety risk with young children and also generally cold of an evening, to which she did try to close it but it wouldn’t work, so agreed with me that it was broken. She said she’d get maintenance in the morning. But I stated it would be a difficult sleep given, having the children with me, and I was told ‘ there’s nothing we can do now, but don’t worry they are fitted with safety latches, so they can’t fall out, that ok? ’ Well it wasn’t, I did state, if it’s broken, how do you know the latch is functioning? but I was just stared at. I wasnt offered an alternative. As anticipated I had a sleepless night while enjoying the clanking sounds of the pipes and the rooms above, I hoped breakfast would take the edge off, but it was just ok. I told reception in the morning that I was unhappy, but was told to email ‘guest relations’. I have, however, my response was a small apology and an explanation of how each room is fitted with child safety locks ( albeit, not great ones if they’re broken!) I stated that I was dissatisfied with that as a resolution, but was told I could have the 10% discount off my next stay ( courtesy of me. Who paid for my annual passes).
Overall I am really disappointed with the evening aspect of my stay and for just under £200 for one night, I don’t think it was fair. My children love the theme park and the zoo, the hotel for the most part was clean, and the entertainment for the children in garden was nice, but the issues in the room were a let down. The situation could’ve been handled a lot better.

Lovely clean hotel with friendly staff. Food is great and the park has something for everyone.
Pros:

Brilliant hotel and theme park. Thomas land and the rollercoasters are a big hit with our family! A bit on the expensive side but it is worth it for the enjoyment my kids get from the adventure. We’ve been twice this year already with a third booked.
