Clean great location modern

The breakfast area is very small

The location was great - we paid for an ocean view room, high floor, and we enjoyed it; with the hotel being beach front, it was a spectacular view.
The staff was very friendly and helpful as well. The room was ok. Breakfast was ok.
Valet parking means you have to ask for you car whenever you need it. We knew from the beginning that was going to be the case, and the people handling the cars were absolutely flawless with taking care of all the back and forth with the cars. Never a mishap, never late, always friendly. Still, for some people a self-park garage might be better.
The breakfast was good, but there was not as much variety as we would have preferred, and zero vegetables.
The room was ok as well, although there were minor issues. (E.g. the door of the cabinet where the mini-fridge was located would not close completely.)
Friendly and polite staff.
The only downside was the room had a strong, unpleasant smell that reminded me of fumigation. I had to keep the window open to let in some fresh air while the AC was on all the time!
We had a wonderful stay at Hyatt Place Virginia Beach Oceanfront! The hardwood floors gave the room such a clean, upscale feel, and the oceanfront view was absolutely stunning. The location is unbeatable — close to everything, and the parking made getting in and out a breeze.
We also loved that it’s pet friendly, and the bar (with a great bartender!) was a nice bonus for unwinding after a day at the beach.
The pool was a little smaller than expected, and the property isn’t the most kid-friendly in its layout, but my two littles still had an absolute blast.
Location....staff.
The tiniest pool i have ever seen in my life. Rooms are best suited for singles and not families.
