Service of the restaurant and breakfast was extremely bad, forgotten drinks, wrong food, we waited 45mins for 1 drink having reminded staff 3 times, bills were wrong.
The ambience was amazing a beautiful building full of charm. The location was amazing 🤩. Lovely breakfast.
The shower took a while to empty but not a major problem 😀

Beautiful decor, comfortable bed. Fans provided.
The seating area was very hot even with a fan on. There is glass roof light, that was covered in voile but it did not cool the room. Lack of privacy at the bedroom window.

The room really needed aircon. Other than that it was lovely.
Room was lovely, garden for drinks in evening are really nice.
They put a 10% discretionary service charge on the cost of the bed and breakfast cost for my final bill. It was taken off with no issue on my request but it felt quite sneaky the way it was added. I had already paid for the accommodation and only had a few drinks to pay for so it was very obvious but I could see how someone might not notice it. If they were more up front I would have considered paying some form of tip for staff but was annoyed by the way it was done.
Beautiful and very comfortable hotel in the centre of Lymington with lovely breakfast. Highly recommend!
