Lovely hotel with its own style that felt a little bit different

Quiet and elegant oasis in the middle of the bustling high street
Pros:

The hotel is a quiet oasis in the middle of the bustling Lymington high street. We loved how genuinely helpful and friendly the staff were, who went out of their way to help us with our pram and baby. They even swapped us to a larger room to accommodate our baby's cot.

The communal spaces are fantastic, especially the courtyard restaurant is worth a visit whether you are staying at the hotel or just popping in for a meal!

Cons:

We would have loved AC in the loft room, as it was difficult to cool down on a hot summer day.

Pros:

lovely restaurant area and nice room with personal seating outside which was great for breakfast. The football was on during our stay so the restaurant was full in the evenings but we didn't hear any noise at all, even though we were relatively close.

Cons:

I think for the price I was disappointed that the room didn't have aircon or a mini fridge. We did visit during warm weather and they brought us water with ice to the room but it was exceptionally hot. The room was meant to be dog friendly but luckily we didn't bring our dog. If we had we would have had to go home or find a different hotel.

Lovely chilled relaxed stress free stay with excellent staff.
Pros:

Lovely hotel with a boutique style, feels homely, relaxed and stress free..
We stayed here a couple times before all be it 15-20 years ago and it was great back then as it is now just a little bigger.

Pros:

Breakfast was good and the garden very pleasant. The bedroom was well equipped. Nice to have milk.

Cons:

Sugar and sweetener not on the table.
The banging of doors was excessive. The door closers need adjusting as they were far too strong. The key fobs were too big making a noise when used especially late at night
Problem with water pressure in shower and one could not adjust the water temperature.

Beautiful Interior Design and very well thought out. Really friendly, efficient staff, excellent food- had dinner & breakfasts.
Loved the garden at the back for drinks, breakfast or dinner.

Cons:

Slightly difficult to find the car park (up the road, around the back of the shops opposite (next to the Job Centre) but actually there is an alleyway just opposite the hotel so very easy to wheel case over.

Could be a really excellent hotel with more attention to the basics.
Pros:

Room very nice, albeit a bit small.
Excellent welcome at reception.
Gentleman on breakfast was excellent and really knew how to engage with guests.

Cons:

Service very variable. F&B staff mostly young and though very pleasant, lacked basic training.
Dinner on Saturday very good but we forgot and no sides were offered, asked for dessert menu, never arrived and staff disappeared so we ended up waiting so long we gave up. Seemed to be several instances of food going to the wrong tables.
Shampoo / body wash dispensers are a disaster - end up having to remove the pump to get anything out.
No recycling facility in the room and lights on alround the place in daylight - very poor ESG in the era we live.
