Leigh House Hotel

Steep stairs and no lift were not easy for my husband with mobility problems. The room was very small.

Serviette sale, ongle sur la moquette, vmc rempli de poussière. Porte de chambre qui ferme très mal. Système de sécurité défectueux. Pas de réception si besoin.

Unfortunately, I got bed bug bites during my stay at this hotel. I was moved to a different room, but continued to develop new bites there. Even more concerningly, a friend staying in a separate room at the same time experienced the same issue. I then also figured out previous guests had mentioned bed bugs in reviews in the last months.

The hotel did offer to move me to another room, which I appreciated, but the fact that the problem continued after changing rooms was extremely concerning. I did not get the impression that the managers are handling this issue with the appropriate care, and they do not seem to take serious measures to ensure that future guests are not exposed to the same issue.

Unfortunately, the room had no air-conditioning and the sash window wouldn't stay open. This resulted in the room being like a sweatbox during my stay thanks to the recent heatwaves. I was unable to sleep comfortably as a result and checked out early.

Secure, suitable for what I needed on a work trip. Pleasant.

Bed bugs!!! Both me and my colleague (in a different room) got bed bugs. When confronting the staff, they started getting aggressive saying that was long ago and we are now all scamming them to get refunds (I didn’t even ask for a refund). I shall just write an email, which they can then of course just ignore.. extremely unprofessional. I wanted to so badly leave this place and would no one recommend staying there.

La habitación era minúscula, no tenía los productos de aseo, y había insectos. No tiene ascensor y estaba muy descuidada la propiedad.-

Just across the street from a pub. On the first night drunk neighbors started hitting our door, they were so drunk that they didn't realise that they were at the wrong door. Then once they entered their room which was next to ours, they listened to loud music all night. We could not phone anyone from the property to inform about the situation. Although we had booked two nights, we left after the first night.

Había PLAGA DE CHINCHES e insectos en el edificio. El día que llegué, maté una araña en el baño. Y a la segunda noche, un insecto me caminó por la cara. Y se trataba de una CHINCHE (BED BUG). Advertí al personal del hotel, y vi que había chinches tamibén en la pared de la escalera. Y la limpieza se limitaba a hacer la cama, ni papel en el baño me dejaron.

En los días que estube no limpiaron nunca, no había ningún responsable.
