Average with Heavy price
Pros:

Just the location

Cons:

Very Small rooms , no refrigerator, and too high priced! Not just worth the price . Half of the switches and lights weren't working. Check in time all the staff goes for Lunch and so we had to write for 30 mins till they guide us to our rooms. Very unorganised management.

Overall decent with basic facilities provided well.
Pros:

The bell boys and room staff was good but the bedsheets were torn at times. They did not replace things needed, one had to tell them. The lady staff is not very friendly, they just keep a stern face and dont look kind or helpful. The brekafast on rooftop doesnt help in summers.

Cons:

The lady staff, the breakfast on rooftop, it could have been elsewhere or a shade could have been made. The staff at breakfast was nice but they are very keen on you finishing your breakfast on time so that they can take away the dishes.

Poor stay for a 5 star price.
Pros:

Breakfast and location

Cons:

So i booked an executive room for 2 adults and 1 child (13). Booking.com accepted my booking with no issues however when i reached the hotel, i was asked to upgrade the room because my booking can’t accommodate 3 people. It was a surprise for me because the issue should be raised by booking.com at the time of booking not at the time of check in. The receptionist explicitly said i was thinking how can i accommodate you in that room. Means the hotel did also know about the issue still they did not inform me about the issue.

I was asked to upgrade the room and pay an extra 3500 per night charges for another small room with 3 beds. The experience was disgusting. The hotel was asking me to pay in front of my family at the time of check in. So in total i paid 30k for 3 nights. I was getting Novotel for 24k, Hilton for 35k but i had no option but to stay in a small room hotel because i have already paid 75% of the room cost which can’t accommodate my family.

The worst part is even though if you go on the booking.com site and check for any hotels in mumbai for 3 people (2 adults & 1 child) Hotel Kemps Corner shows up at the top and they will give an option for Executive room for 2 adults and 1 child however when you reach hotel it’s a different story all together. The staff will force you to upgrade because the room is too small to accommodate 3 people. The breakfast was the only positive to talk about rest all was average.

Value for money in South Mumbai
Pros:

The rooms are small but with good facilities, I was unable to try the breakfast so can't comment.

Cons:

Rooms are not directly accessible after elevators, you have to climb up or go down a few steps to reach the room.

Warm, welcoming stay with exceptional staff
Pros:

This hotel was a real highlight. It’s run mostly by women, and the atmosphere they create is genuinely special. The staff are incredibly kind and attentive, making you feel at home from the moment you arrive.

We ended up staying here longer than planned after getting stuck in Mumbai due to the situation in Iran, and it turned out to be the perfect place for that. The room was cosy and comfortable, with a lovely view of a tree and good AC. There’s a clear attention to detail throughout, with a thoughtful, personal touch that really stands out.

Small gestures made a big difference, like leaving cookies and juice in the room after cleaning. They also offer foot massages by visually impaired therapists, which is a great initiative and a unique experience.

The location is very good, in a safe area with nice restaurants nearby, and it felt comfortable for my girlfriend to walk around alone. Breakfast looked excellent, although unfortunately I wasn’t able to fully enjoy it due to stomach issues.

Cons:

The elevator is quite noisy, although it’s not really an issue at night as it’s not in use.
