Great location, good breakfast, but smaller rooms
Pros:

Kemps Corner hotel is located in an excellent location that is nearby to most of the tourist destinations in southern part of the Mumbai. We loved the convenience it offers to tourists with its location, easiness to catch a taxi, and with its familiarity such that every taxi drivers in Mumbai knows where Kemps corner is, without having to specify the full address!
And I have to mention, the breakfast was sumptuous and tasty!

Cons:

We did not like the following -
1. Size of the rooms - Rooms were extremely small, gets difficult if you are with a kid. Although I keep hearing that it is a common problem in Mumbai, I didn't expect it to be this worse.
2. Poor communication - The reception desk can improve with their communication. We could barely hear them talking due to the always-present background noise, and their replies to our text messages in booking.com were too slow. We wanted to request for an early check in, and we just couldn't hear them via phone with all the background noise (no, it's not a network problem, as calls from within the room to the reception desk were also painful).
3. Lack of attention to detail - I am only writing this after comparing our experience with hotels that are priced similarly in Mumbai. IMO we paid a premium price given the size of the room, and I expected a better service. Just to state a few:
a. We found food droppings on the corner of the floor left over by the previous guest just when we checked in into the room.
b. Room cleaning service did not replenish the stockings like the coffee powder/cookies after we consumed it.
c. We were served pretty much the same menu for breakfast on both the days we stayed (although it was delicious).

Pros:

It's set in a very accessible part of Mumbai so can easily get around to a lot of places on Uber etc
Solid food spots around as well and staff are very friendly and helpful

Pros:

The rooms are comfortable, well maintained and clean. So comfortable and the staff and breakfast are excellent. You can’t get better.

Definitely worth a visit
Pros:
