Comfortable and exceptional
Pros:

Everything was excellent. Stayed at the king s suit for 3 nights and it was awesome, clean, comfortable. Breakfast was delicious.

Pros:

I liked the room it was very clean bathroom as well breakfast very good and the hotel bosses can be proud of the staff members they are friendly helpful and hard working
We spend some time in different hotels in Bosnia but we enjoyed staying in Mövenpick

Aangenaam qua accommodatie en ligging, maar qua eten en drinken niet onze keuze.
Pros:

Het ontbijt was geweldig, erg uitgebreid

Cons:

We waren niet op de hoogte dat het een Halal hotel is, was nergens vermeld en konden het ook nergens vinden. Als we het hadden geweten hadden we waarschijnlijk voor een ander hotel gekozen.

I was disappointed with the way a basic hygiene issue was handled during my stay.
My room’s shower had extremely hot water, so Front of House Manager Nela kindly offered me the use of a shower in another room. However, the room she took me to had clearly only just been vacated by a previous guest and had not been properly cleaned. There were visible urine marks in the bathroom, which was extremely unhygienic and unacceptable.
When I raised this, I was told that housekeeping were meant to have cleaned the room. Nela then transferred me straight to another room, which was clean and suitable to use.
I appreciate that the issue was eventually resolved quickly, but I was very concerned that a room in this condition was offered to a guest in the first place. Basic cleanliness and hygiene should be a minimum standard, particularly in a hotel.

Housekeeping did not properly clean the room or remove empty bathroom bottles, and the room was not properly hoovered.
I do want to acknowledge that the lady wearing the hijab who worked on Sunday 15 August provided the best housekeeping service we experienced during our stay.
For a hotel costing over £300 per night, I found the standard of room preparation and housekeeping disappointing.
Electrical problems were reported before the final incident
There were also problems with the electricity in our room before the final incident.
The lights repeatedly flickered on and off. We made staff aware of this and Amine came to look at the problem, but nothing ultimately transpired and the issue was not properly resolved.
This is important because the electrical problems did not appear for the first time on the final day.
We had already made staff aware that there was an electrical issue, yet nothing effective appeared to be done.
Breakfast
The breakfast staff were pleasant and efficient, particularly when clearing tables, which I do acknowledge.
However, there were queues for coffee and tea, we repeatedly had to ask for black tea bags, and the overall breakfast selection was fairly basic considering the price of the stay.
The most serious incident – dangerously hot shower water
The most serious problem occurred on our final day.
There was a temporary electricity failure and, during this period, the shower water suddenly became extremely hot while my children were showering.
My children were scalded by the sudden hot water and screamed.
As a parent, this was extremely frightening and distressing.
The hotel has explained that the power outage affected the water pumps and the restoration of the cold-water supply. I understand the outage itself may have been beyond the hotel's control.
However, my concern is the sudden dangerously hot water and the way the incident was handled, particularly because young children were involved.
