It's a great location in the old quarter. My boys liked the breakfast and it was novelty seeing the view from the rooftop. The layout of the family room worked well effectively two rooms with bathroom in the middle. Tv had Netflix and YouTube

Cons:

I was a bit taken a bit that it seemed quite shabby on arrival. This may be as we arrived from la siesta hoi an which was top notch but I definitely got impression from website it was a higher end hotel whereas I'd say it was actually mid. It was classic older style charm, a bit rough around the edges. The room smelt a bit (fragrance perhaps to cover up cigerettes or damp). The coffee was not drinkable. I can see why people like it but I wouldn't chose to stay again, I would prefer slightly more polished.

Highly recommend and would recommend to anyone staying in Hanoi Old Quarter.
Pros:

Fantastic service. Very clean and staff were amazing. Very central when in Hanoi.
Don was a wonderful help and organised all we needed. I would highly recommend. Would stay here again definitely.

Brilliant staff. Beautiful French style inner city hotel. Rooms very clean and nice feel to them.

Cons:

Pool had a funny vinegar like taste but was still a great pool.
