The bathroom wasn’t very clean
Stunning, central location, very friendly and attentive staff - especially Anna! - comfortable and very original decor in the dining room.

Accoglienza pessima e veloce. Il proprietario ci ha accolto in malo modo . La sera gli abbiamo chiesto se potessimo vedere la sala pranzo, lui in tono maleducato i ha risposto che non dovevamo camminare tra i tavoli e di fare veloce. Pessimo

The location is excellent, we had a beautiful view from the room, the hotel is steeped in history. The dining room had a panoramic view of the canals and old buildings. It's a quiet hotel with little to no noise from 11pm through to the morning. The staff are attentive and welcoming. A continental breakfast is laid out every morning, a bar, and the meals are great value. We had the 3 course meal, which is to a high standard which was only 44 euros, great value. Overall a great place, central to all the sights, and peaceful, I would return.
Our room had a very small bathroom, advertised as a bath and shower, unfortunately the shower is just a shower headover the bath, the bath is set on the back wall with a low sloping ceiling, being 6 foot I struggled to negotiate getting in and out and showering. The room (12) was small with two built in wardrobes, no drawers, but a nice pod coffee machine made up for that. There was some evidence that not all the room gets a good clean (thick dust on picture frames etc).
