Excellent location provided good value for money.
Pros:

Close proximity to town centre, off road parking, friendly staff (cleaning, reception and restaurant), spacious room, quiet.

Cons:

Shower didn’t produce enough water. Noisey air conditioning unit during night close by.

Stylish hotel
Pros:

We enjoyed the spa. And really like the fight against food waste, so u order your main breakfast dish voa the kitchen, wish more hotel do this under continental breakfast. The decorations are very nice in the hotel

Cons:

The lack of A/C, though a fan was provided. Our room faced the street and was very noisy due to our window not sealing properly

Relaxing vibe throughout our stay. Lovely decor, friendly atmosphere, great menu. Our room was nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. Great central location with lots of parking.

Not the Executive Experience We Paid For
Cons:

This boutique hotel has plenty of potential, but unfortunately our stay was let down by a number of issues.

The reception team could benefit from additional customer service training, as interactions often felt unfriendly and unhelpful. In contrast, the food and beverage staff were generally warm, personable, and eager to assist. However, the kitchen’s approach lacked consistency. On two occasions, staff were happy to warm baby food without issue, yet on the third day we were told this was “unsafe.” Several members of staff also appeared unsure how to handle even simple requests.

We had booked multiple Executive/Suite rooms, but only one room matched that description. The remaining rooms appeared to be standard rooms, despite being presented to us as Executive/Suite accommodation. The bedrooms also lacked fridges, which was disappointing for this room category. In Room 314, one of the windows was broken and could not be opened, and there was visible mould behind the nappy bin.

The parking area was relatively small but conveniently located.

The leisure facilities were another disappointment. The pool was small and noticeably colder than the 33°C temperature quoted by reception. The jacuzzi was only lukewarm, and there were frequent public children’s swimming lessons taking place throughout the day, making it difficult for hotel guests to relax and enjoy the facilities.

Overall, this is a hotel with significant potential, but it currently falls short in several key areas. With improvements to customer service, maintenance, room standards, and leisure facilities, it could offer a much better guest experience.

Delightful Hotel
Pros:

Well appointed room, comfortable bed, spotless bathroom with a good shower. Delightful staff and a great selection of drinks available in the bar. The car park was large offering plenty of spaces throughout the stay.
