Amazing hotel with great facilities

Breakfast was delicious and served promptly, would have preferred a pot of tea rather than faffing about with the tea making station!
Swimming lessons taking place in a very small pool leaving no space for residents to enjoy, there were too many people in the pool!
Staff were fantastic. Greeted by a lovely gentleman and then every person we met were warm and friendly. Breakfast was huge and delicious. Perfect spot for BIC and town
Not sure if its an older hotel being newly worked on or a renovated one thats a bit tired in places. Didn't make a difference to our stay but things like carpets looking a bit grubby.
The room was spacious and we had Airco which was essential as the Hotel was very warm. The Breakfast was very good, especially the Full Dorchester. Great location, just a short walk from the Beach and the Boulevard.
The curtains didn't close completely so in the morning the room was flooded with light - wear an eye mask. The TV only had On Demand programmes, no LIVE TV. The pillows were too thin, but luckily I had brought my own pillow.

We recently hosted a family reunion at Hotel Collingwood and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The hotel was welcoming, comfortable, and perfectly suited for bringing our family together. We also chose to stay overnight, which made the occasion even more enjoyable and relaxing for everyone.
A special thank you to Lily from the events team, who was fantastic throughout the planning process and during the event itself. She was incredibly helpful, organised, and made everything run smoothly, which really took the stress away from arranging such a special occasion.
The staff were friendly and attentive, and all of our guests had a lovely time. We would definitely recommend Hotel Collingwood for family events, celebrations, and overnight stays in general.

I had a wonderful stay! The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were incredibly friendly, the breakfast was delicious, and the location was perfect. Everything exceeded expectations, and I’d happily stay here again.

The hotel is right on a main access road into Bournemouth and it is very noisy day and night as it is not really set back from the road. Whlst the reception areas are fine the bedrooms and windows in the 3 bedrooms where we stayed all need attention. We stayed 2 nights and on the first night having noted there was a damp patch on the ceiling ... around 11 p.m. water began to drip through the ceiling - which was really unpleasant. The night porter moved us to a very small room with two single beds on the top floor ... not easy with a small baby in the middle of the night - we had booked a double bed plus a single and a cot as we had a 3 month baby with us. The next day we were moved to a smaller room with a double bed and an adjoining bedroom with bunk beds .. not suitable and not what we had booked. The hotel needs renovations and repairs.
A great hotel, with an excellent restaurant serving high quality food. The bar has a great selection including fantastic cocktails. The room was immaculate, the bed was super comfortable! Perfect location for a walk on the stunning beach. 😎
