Lovely hotel.
Pros:

We received an upgrade upon check in. That was nice. Beds comfy. Rooms are clean and tidy. Parking is £12.50 a day though. I feel it should be discounted for longer stays. Staff were mostly lovely. Except the foreign lady on reception (not Kasia). She’s rude and not welcoming. Didn’t even smile when we walked in and her tone was short and abrupt like we were a burden. But all other staff we encountered were lovely.

Location is excellent , however, with the warm summer weather, could do with air condition rooms and free supply of drin

Definitely worth a trip
Pros:

Lovely hotel warm & welcoming staff.
Breakfast was good (,made to order not buffet).
Location was great.
Comfy bed.

Cons:

Indoor pool was freezing, didn't get in it which I was disappointed with as I was looking forward to doing some swimming.
Water pressure in the shower was poor.

Beautifully well kept and decorated . In a very good location for the BIC and having its own car park was another jewel . The spa was fantastic.

overall is good.
Pros:

Good size room for the family and bonus with swimming pool and hot tub. Breakfast was good. walking distance for the beach.

Cons:

No aircon in the room, no safe deposit box and no minifridge. The hair dryer was broken and it very dangerous when i try to use it at the first time. Should check the safety of accessories in the room before giving to the customer. Bonus, it replaced quickly after i took it to the reception with my wet hair.

Wir fühlten uns leider nicht wohl!
Pros:

Der Barmann war wirklich sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Die Zimmer sind schön eingerichtet. Die Unterkunft liegt ziemlich Zentral.
Im Großen und Ganzen sauber

Cons:

Das Personal war größtenteils unfreundlich, es wurde nicht gegrüßt bzw. wurde man beim betreten eines Raumes nicht einmal angeschaut. (Speziell an der Rezeption und beim Frühstück)
Beim Badezimmer hingen Spinnennetze und Staub von der Wand herunter
Unser Fenster (3.Stock) ließ sich kaum öffnen und so stand die heisse Luft im Raum. Der Ventilator hat leider keine Abkühlung gebracht.

Nice hotel in a good location
Pros:

Very nice hotel close to the beach and the town centre, accomodating staff. Clean, well maintained rooms and it's very dog friendly.

Cons:

Windows, they're not sound proof and if your room is facing the road, you can hear traffic way too well I'm the night. Was sleeping with earplugs.

Fun in sunny Bournemouth 😎
Pros:

Excellent hotel offering great hospitality and top notch facilities! Even during the recent hot weather it was cool and relaxing! The swimming pool is a great place to chill and the air conditioned restaurant is perfect place to relax and enjoy a lovely meal 😋

Lovely seaside break
Pros:

Delightful hotel in a beautiful location right next to the beach. We had a lovely time making the most of the super pool and spa as well as the beach. Great location, everything you need for a lovely break by the seaside.

Nice stay, great location and friendly staff.
Pros:

Enjoyed my stay at the Collingwood. The reception and dining area was lovely, excellent decor and clean. Breakfast was superb, incredible choice. All the staff were lovely, nothing was too much trouble and we felt looked after. Location was great too, close to the beach and BIC. Used the spa facilities too, although small it is a nice added extra.

Cons:

Unfortunately the bed was not comfortable. The room was also stifling hot, so hot it was hard to get a half a decent night sleep. The room was also quite small and I felt it was a little run down, maybe because it was a dog friendly room the older rooms are allocated for that. Considering we are charged an extra £15 a night for a dog, it would be nice for the room to reflect the quality of the hotel. None the less, we enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Pros:

Through business & pleasure I have stayed at 6 different hotels in Bournemouth and I am pleased to say that the Hotel Collingwood is the top of my lists of hotels used. Staff are a very important part of any hotel and the fact that the same staff are there year on year suggests that they are happy to remain there. Nothing is to much trouble for the staff, they are always so helpful and courteous. Most rooms are large, and all rooms are kept spotlessly clean. The noise level is very minimal considering it is situated in a busy area of the town. I have had the pleasure over the pass eleven years of completing a large group booking and I have to say that it has been a please to work with the current manager and the current assistant manager.
