Loved the location and the friendly, helpful staff! Stay here and you will be so happy you did!!
The staff were so friendly and helpful. They he location was excellent and the hotel cat featured in my Cat Walk of Reykjavík tour which was also superb! I loved the decor of my room as well! My single room was chosen by Mel and I loved it. Had a fantastic view and just loved sitting and watching!

Super helpful staff both days! Perfect location.
The manager was incredibly friendly and helpful. I needed to buy a duffel bag during my stay and he kindly recommended a couple of nearby stores to visit. Moreover, he allowed me to leave some luggage there during my trip out of the capital.
It is centrally located. Numerous stores, restaurants, and cafes are within a short walk.
The price for one night was high but it was high season and many visitors were in the country to see the solar eclipse.
Our room was fine with a nice shower with several options with a handheld and an overhead fixture. The location was close to many bars and restaurants. We were joining a long cruise so the elevator was large enough for us and all of our luggage. The man at the front desk was very helpful to arrange for a taxi to take us to the pier. There was another couple going to the same ship so we split the cost with them (about $50 total for all four of us).
The mattress was softer than what we are used to having. There was no luggage stand in the room which would helped with our repacking before we boarded our cruise.

Noise
Lovely staff - nice beds and good amenities
Prices in Iceland are on the high end, but this property did a great job in providing good value for money. There were some street noises that quieted down eventually.
Friendly and helpful staff, great, light room with a view, and a good bed. And quiet. Probably the best location in town. Basically, nothing wrong!
Nothing.
Standard room and quite clean
Loud noise from the streets is quite apparent. Please don’t take room 206. It’s the worst.
The hotel is within walking distance of all the restaurants and sights we wanted to visit. The rooms and common areas were very clean and comfortable. The bed was larger than we expected. The staff was also extremely helpful in recommending food options and discussing Islandic culture. The common areas were very well decorated & typical of a boutique hotel. Because of the location, there was some noise on a Saturday night, but the trade-off of location was worth it. The room came with earplugs & eye masks.
