Cons:

The hotel is quite far from public transportation, so I would not recommend booking this place if you don’t have a car. It is also far from shops and the city center, which makes getting around quite inconvenient.

There was also a strange damp and musty smell in our room, which made the stay less comfortable. Overall, the location and the humidity issue were the main downsides for us.

BAD EXPERIENCE
Pros:

We had a reservation-related issue at the hotel and were already under considerable stress when we were offered what was presented to us as the “most suitable” room. We later discovered that this was actually one of the highest-priced rooms in the hotel. Unfortunately, Yasin Bey’s approach gave us the strong impression that he was taking advantage of the stressful situation we were in and trying to sell us a much more expensive room. As we were travelling with our two-year-old son and did not want to prolong an already stressful situation, we agreed at the time.

However, once we settled into the room, we realised that the bed was actually smaller than the one in a room we had stayed in previously. Since we were already familiar with the hotel and knew that the other room had a larger bed, we requested a room change. We were then moved to a lower-priced room, which, despite being cheaper, was actually much more comfortable and suitable for our family with a young child.

Unfortunately, during the following days, our requests for housekeeping and an extra bed were often handled late and incompletely. We would, however, like to acknowledge that Gürkan Bey subsequently made an effort to assist us and tried to resolve some of the issues.

Overall, however, Yasin Bey’s approach during the reservation and room-selection process left us with a serious lack of trust. We were left with the impression that his primary motivation may have been to make a commission or other financial benefit from the sale, rather than genuinely recommending the most suitable room for our family. His subsequent comments regarding us being charged the same rate also added to this concern and made the situation feel even less transparent.

Had we not stayed at this hotel before and therefore not known the difference between the rooms, we believe this experience could have left us with a very different impression of the hotel overall.

Unfortunately, we were disappointed with this stay, particularly with the sales approach, the speed and completeness of service, and the way our requests were handled.
