PLEASE NOTE THAT OUR HOTEL DOES NOT HAVE AN ELEVATOR.
Please be advised that is mandatory to present a photographic ID at the check in time and you may be requested to present same when returning to the hotel after 11pm.
Please note that our hotel offers a facility to park bikes and bicycles only. Our guests can avail of parking in Q-PARK nearby at Carroll's Quay T23P2TX to park their cars, at a 24 HOUR discounted rate.
Guests under 19 years of age cannot check-in unless the lead guest is aged 21 years or over.
In case of arriving after 11pm, we kindly ask you to contact the hotel directly prior to the arrival (approximately 30 minutes) on the following contact number: (021)4501518.
Please note all cards will be preauthorised to guarantee the reservation. If you decide to use a different card for payment on arrival, please be aware that it may take up to 3 weeks for the preauthorised amount to be released. This period varies between banks.
Damage deposit - in case where the reservation payment is made by debit card then a security deposit of €200 may be required and will be returned on the inspection of the bedroom at check out time.
The property accepts UnionPay, Visa, Mastercard, JCB, and Maestro as methods of payment. The hotel does not accept American Express, Diners Club, or Discover.

Check in is from 3pm but we can store your luggage if you arrive earlier. Check out is by 11am including vehicles. BB more than a Hotel
Pros:

Location was absolutely fantastic and the staff very welcoming. Shower was nice and clean and great pressure. Room was clean but very outdated.

Cons:

The bed was like sleeping on a concrete slab and the pillows so thin they were pointless. The toilet paper holder made it feel more like a public toilet that a hotel toilet.

Wir haben unsere Buchung storniert, weil die letzten Bewertungen recht dubios waren ("ein Schlüssel passt an allen Zimmern", "keine Besucher mit aufs Zimmer", "laute Geräusche vom gegenüber liegenden Pub", "Parken im Parkhaus teuer", "Sauberkeit", ...).
Alles in allem hat es sich nicht nach einer seriösen Unterkunft angehört.

We had a nice one night stay,
Pros:

The staff at the Ashley Hotel were all fabulous. Friendly, professional and helpful. We asked for no bleach or air fresheners to be used in our room due to medical conditions and this was complied with absolutely, making our stay fantastic. The hotel was spotlessly clean and triple glazed, so very little street noise. Across the road in a pub named The Corner House we had a great night with traditional Irish music. The following morning we had a full Irish breakfast in the dining room which was freshly cooked and reasonably priced for that area. We would stay again, although one drawback is the absence of a lift.

A good experience ruined by a bad one
Pros:

Perfectly located for our needs.

I had an extremely early flight that morning and really needed a nap before the wedding we were attending, and the receptionist was extremely helpful and rang me as soon as a room was ready. It was hugely appreciated and really saved the day.

The rooms are dated but in a charming way. Feels a bit like a time capsule in there and I hope they keep it that way as the hotel doesn’t feel soulless like a lot of modern ones do.

Cons:

Really weird experience coming back after the wedding. The receptionist (not the same one from earlier) demanded our room number, key and both of our names. I believe that’s how all guests are treated as they don’t want anything untoward happening, but it was embarrassing and unwelcoming. It was fairly early in the evening, we were both sober and dressed to the nines. It felt like we were being reprimanded and very much left a sour taste. It would, unfortunately, put me off returning.

Pros:

Facile d’accès et bien placé. Bon accueil. Moquette insonorisante dans l’escalier. Chambre salle de bain et douche assez grande. Literie confortable. C’est propre partout.

Cons:

Parking étroit même pour une moto. Arriver à 15h si vous voulez une place. On entend un peu les bruits du couloir d’accès aux chambres.
Petit déjeuner moyen. 6€ pour 2 tranches de pain de mie grillé et un thé.
