Decent hotel, but not close to the better hotels I've stayed in recently.
Pros:

Location was good. Nice, but older hotel.

Cons:

The hotel was a bit dated. Housekeeping service was spotty -- they missed a day and did not deliver a full set of towels.

Unfriendly, room was cramped and shoddy.
Cons:

The fridge was on the floor and was not level. Then we asked for a microwave. There was mo place to put it, and it was so unlevel the fridge barely stayed closed.

Pros:

I check in with my daughter and they had booked us into a King, while I had requested 2 queens. The front desk staff went out of their way to change our room (we were upgraded) and we really appreciated it.

Cons:

They could have USB chargers built into the furniture in the rooms.

Cons:

I had prepared for my room ahead of time...and when I got there they charged my card for 261 like I hadn't paid...said it would take 5-10 days to get my money back...im not rich...that is my live on .money...so I left baton Rouge to go back to shreveport with none of my money...and all they could say was sorry the person checking u in wasn't paying attention

Bathroom was dirty but they said we stayed on the 28th he checked in and left within 30 minute after he got into the room.

A solid stay but priced a bit high for the age and amenities.

The room was clean and well appointed, what you would expect from a Marriott property.

Cons:

I would rate the rooms at the Renaissance just underneath your standard AC Hotel room - similar fixtures and room amenities. However, this location seemed aged, the shower leaked and had a low-flow shower head. Plus there was only night stand wired for power and it wasn’t working. So all electronics had to be charged on the floor from wall outlets. Also there was ice and soft drink vending on the floor, but no filtered water dispenser.

The hotel was nice, staff was fairly friendly.

Cons:

The hotel was nice, staff was fairly friendly, the shuttle didnt start until later int he day so we couldnt utilize it to go just a mile away to our office. The hotel also didnt have any bottled water, front desk said they were awaiting a delivery, so I had to go and purchase elsewhere.
